Dr. Thurman is one of the greatest doctor's not only because of his expansive knowledge, but because he is a major advocate for his patients. There is no "cookie cutter - industry standard - one size fits all" with Dr. Thurman. Dr. Thurman goes above and beyond to extensively evaluate, listen to the patient, and discuss options and applications to get you results other doctors don't. I can tell you from experience that I have achieved much better health and my quality of life is better due to Dr. Thurman's direct.management and oversight. Doctors like this are few and far between....they are a rarity in an insurance regulated, big pharmacy dictating world. Dr. Thurman is one of the best advocate and professionals I've been blessed to encounter.

What a difference a review makes. I offered my review last year that included "great doctor and great service". Google alerted me that many had seen my review, now I can't get a prescription straight. I cant get Prior Authorizations for prescriptions, I need a new insulin pump but cant get an appointment see the doctor for months. I'd like to talk to the Dr. but can't reach him. the office has sent scripts for the wrong amount to the wrong pharmacy, and when I call there is no help....everyone seems too busy to care. I can't get the doctor to call me back either. It's a shame. if you are looking for an endo, look elsewhere, these folks are just too busy to get things done correctly.

Nightmare
My 21 year old disabled daughter began seeing Dr. Thurman in the fall of 2020 for a pancreatic condition. Since our first appointment, where he said he was willing and able to treat her condition, he has refused to fill out essential paperwork and told my to ask her pediatric endocrinologist any questions because he is unfamiliar with her condition. He has now suggested her primary doctor prescribe for my daughter because he doesn't want to be bothered. It can take 6 months to get in with a new endocrinologist. He left us in a lurch and all he could say is "Let them figure it out".

Dr. Thurman changed my life. I have been Type 1 diabetic for over 20 years and have seen many Endo's throughout that time. Dr. Thurman is extremely versed in new pump therapies and was able to help me achieve my best A1c numbers in years. I would highly recommend him.

When my fiance's blood sugar levels became erratic and consistently low- to the point where paramedics were called to the house-we turned to his endo of 10+ years, Dr. Thurman. He basically dismissed us. We were assured that switching my fiance's insulin to Toujeo would fix it all. A few blood tests here, a hiss or two at the A1C and that was it. My fiance ended up in the ER. Where a GREAT endo (Ramanathan) diagnosed him with Addison's Disease and Graves. This man could care less about you.
