From the first time I came to see you about my knees I was happy with everything you done for me and the same thing with my last visit but if I decide to have the surgery I was hoping it was going to be you doing it for me but I am sure you have put me in good hands with the other doctor thank you

I saw Dr. Mathis to get a surgical opinion on a knee issue. He was very attentive, answered all my questions and gave me his recommended course of action.

Dr. Mathis has been our doctor for over 15 years. He has treated my husband and myself for shoulders and knees. He is great at what he does, very personable, and makes you feel like you are family. We love Dr. Mathis.

Dr. Mathis did not really confirm my first need for feet diagnosis before knee surgery. I am finding that throughout the Orthopedic Practices in Columbus, that if a patient is concerned about another area they will need to have diagnostic testing before a knee replacement surgery, so that PT will be successful, that the only focus is their specialty. The knee replacement. No comment made whatsoever about the patient’s concern on another issue that will affect successful healing. Is it a liability issue? I have found I must manage my own health decisions without any input from the professionals. None have been helpful with the “big picture”. I am sorry the medical profession doesn’t look at the whole person & their concerns. Shallow way to practice medicine.

My experience with OrthoNeuro was exceptional. I cannot praise my physician, Jeremy Mathis, his staff, Polaris surgery Center, their staff, enough. from the diagnosis to the surgery, I was highly pleased. I was walking post surgery with minimal pain. I was released after my first physical therapy evaluation and told that I did not have to return. I return to work and I’m doing great.I wish I had not put off the procedure as long as I did. I feel great. I have already recommended Jeremy Mathis to others.Thank you

My injury happened 5 months prior to my visit. It was a “rare injury” and a “rare surgery” was needed. Dr. Mathis took the time to explain EVERYTHING so I knew all of my options going into surgery. Not every doc does that anymore! I knew I had a LONG recovery ahead of me with LOTS of PT as well. Never once did a question go unanswered and I truly felt like I was either a good friend or family from the get go. Amazing experience. Not that I ever want a reason to need his expertise in the future, but I’ll definitely return if needed and I’ll always refer! Honestly, I’ll be sad when I’m fully released!

I got an appointment quickly. Was scheduled for surgery within a week. Had the surgery and felt great 10 days later. Hopefully Dr. Mathis kept me from having knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Mathis and staff were exceptional in availability, scheduling, and explaining step by step what was going on. Dr.Mathis listened to me, and took so much time explaining in detail what was happening and the different possibilities. He is an advocate for the patient which I appreciate!

I came to Dr. Mathis with what I thought was a torn rotary cuff. With good news after Dr. Mathis reviewed my M.R.I. it was an injury that just needed Physical therapy and a few shots to ease the pain. I'm still under going physical therapy but with Dr. Mathis leading this, I am feeling better already. He has magical fingers that know exactly where I hurt and is doing a fantastic job at helping me. I went to see Dr. Mathis about my right Shoulder after a fall & on the 1st visit he immediately became more concerned about my LEFT shoulder which I had injured about 18mo. earlier but thought it was just a bad bruise. It was a complete cuff tear & he attempted to repair my left shoulder but too much time had passed - too much scar tissue, etc. Next concern was my right shoulder which he did successfully repair. Through all that he kept me well informed & took good care of me. I'll recommend him to anyone.

What can I say without going into to much detail but I will say Dr Mathis is a wonderful doctor and is very in touch with his patients. He truly cares about his patients and u can sense that every time u come for an office visit . His patients truly are his priority and how there recovery is coming along . You could not be in any better hands for your surgery than in Dr. Mathis And his secretary Monica always makes sure she can get u scheduled what always works for you, this makes the office visits always go smoothly Thank u Monica . Words will never be able Dr.Mathis for how truly I and my family are for all and I mean all the work to keep me going, and get me back !! To then always following up with me and giving me a second chance to get Back to work with my arm& shoulder mobility again , thanks to your magic Hands .
