Dr. Jenny Smith, MD

I find that when you call the office and leave a message, it takes a long time to get a call back, when you call the office and talk to someone, they seem like they don't know what you are talking about, never receive results of tests, have to call the office to get the results myself. When someone does call back and they say you need this test, etc., they don't explain why or what is involved. Never have talked to the doctor when I have left a message, always a nurse (I guess that who it is)

This office in general, with Dr. Smith being the doctor I last saw, is primarily a testing center with no follow up unless initiated by the patient. And trying to get an appointment when you have an issue is very difficult. She is personable and listened in the office, but does not check back with the patient or set up another appointment to see if the problem is better or worse. And there is no sense of urgency to see the patient who has an ongoing problem when they need to be seen. Disappointed.

Would not recommend being a patient at this office. The staff and Dr. Jenny are friendly and personable (Dr. has good bedside manners) but when it comes to the medical care staff, this office's processes and procedures are stuck in the 1980's at best. No one seems to have a clear answer regarding your test results, the Dr. never reached out after the initial appointment, the staff "didn't know" whether they could provide your results via email or mail. Everything is manual, everything is paper and it seems like most of this office's staff is ill-equipped to respond to patient's needs. They double-book a patient for their scans, labs, and use external hospital partners who also are clueless. Unfortunately, as good as Dr. Jenny MAY BE (I will never know because I'm not returning) this office and experience have been below sub-par. Buyer beware.

Dr Smith is great! She seems to really know her stuff and remembered me and my problems.

Did not give a plan for diagnosis, didn’t address concerns, did not want family asking questions.

It went very well.

She actually read the paperwork they have you fill out prior to appointment and she seemed to really listen to my concerns.

Very astute, thorough, and concerned. She took the necessary time to listen to my problems and took action to get me relief and answers.
