Dr. Jenny Halfhill, MD

It took me 3 years to leave this review because this woman's negligence almost killed me. After being admitted to the ER while pregnant I was told to follow up with someone because my hormones were off. She not only did a rough physical exam that left me crying and a nurse consoling me, she refused to investigate my hormones further. Turns out I do have a hormonal autoimmune disease. I lost the pregnancy and ended up in a coma.

She was outright rude. I was visibly upset due to some health concerns and she was dismissive and actually seemed annoyed that i was upset. Will never return & absolutely do not recommend.

Dr Halfhill is very knowledgeable and values my time. She has a great bedside manner. She is very good at explaining test results in a way that is easy to understand.

Dr. Halfhill is very short with patients during visits. Condescending and uncaring. Don't call with problems just wants your office copay

I have always loved having Dr. Halfhill as my doctor, but when I was most thankful for her was when I was pregnant. She listened, gave sound advice, put my fears at ease and made my time delivering my daughter the best experience it could be. The original doctor I went to left the practice and I got Dr. Halfhill by luck. I am so glad that I did.

She does not offer pain management for IUD insertion, even when requested. She talks really fast. She left me sitting in the exam room for 20 minutes because she didn't tell me the appointment was over. She didn't take the CT that documented my IUD was displaced seriously. I'm finding a new doctor.

Dr. Halfhill is actually one of my absolute favorite doctors. I have always trusted what she has said to me and I appreciate her honesty. She is actually quite funny to have a conversation with and she has always made me feel comfortable and welcome. She remembers a lot about my history and family, even if I haven't seen her in a year or more (as it was my last visit) and has never made me feel stupid about any questions I may have. She always has a plan of action and always give you options when needed. I only see her and Dr. Hunkele in the practice, as they are the two that make me feel most comfortable - and when my insurance changes, I always make sure I still can see them (her especially). I trust her!

First time pregnancy. She was extremely rushy like I knew what to expect. Do not see this doctor unless you speak her language.

Dr was good.She listened to the concerns well.I woukd recommend her.

Was rude from the moment she came in the exam room . Acted as if she was better than the ER doctors . Said that they needed to do a better job because she cant read the scans and tests that they had done . I found out i have a cyst and she says thats not the issue im having with pain throughout my entire body and pain on my left side . I can barely walk by the way . She did not help with anything that was going on . Told me to go back to er and have them do their job . Wrote in my chart i was better after seeing her which if faulse . Im still in as much pain when this first started of friday night . Will not go back to see her or any of her associates. Watch what she writes in your folder or charts also !!! The nurses at window were nice but seemed upset i couldnt stay standing at the window to talk to them . She brought the papers out to me and i said thank you , she was a bit snippy and said excuse me . I said thank you . She said oh ok Waste of my time gas and patients and hope

my wife was scheduled to see Jenny for our first appt for our new baby and first baby and she refused to see us because we were 5 mins late because the front desk ladies directed us to the wrong place so it made us late few mins she refused to see us then lied and said we were a hour late and even the front desk women were very rude. One nice lady a appt scheduler gave us a next day appt. she said we were treated unfairly and felt bad for us so she tried to help. The next day we got there 15 mins earlier and they gave us a different supposedly doctor who was very rude and also a liar named Alexandra Plisko but never told us we were seeing a different doc she lied on me and said a black man was attacking her some dude not security busted in the room with my wife undressed violation of our privacy completely with the century manager standing right n room with us they called the cops on me and lied they are unprofessional and don’t wear mask either, she canceled our appt playd the victim

I visited her office today , horrible experience, she was very rushy ,rood .my English is not that good ,I asked her to speak slowly,so I understand what she saying , but she didn’t care . The visit was for 10mn including the exam .

I had to see Dr Halfhill during my 38 week OB visit as opposed to my usual office because of scheduling issues. She spoke rudely to the staff I could hear in the hall before coming into my room. She was very rushy with me and was irritated because the fetal Doppler wasn’t working properly and apparently that’s the only one they had in the whole office. I barely got to hear the baby’s heart beat. She went to check my cervix and said her assistant was coming and before the assistant even got there she was already poking around but she didn’t even move the sheet to see what she was doing and was poking and shoving around very roughly which was causing me to tense up. She said “yeah I can’t check it like this” and left the room and that was the end of my appointment. As a first time mom to be, she did not make me feel well about me giving birth soon. She is super short and rude toned when speaking. Worst OB visit I’ve ever had this whole pregnancy.

Horrible - Zero Stars - she was rude from the beginning - she assumed I was with several partners which wasn't the case and then she misdiagnosed me right before Christmas when I had to tell my fiance and my entire holiday was ruined - only to find out that I never had the diagnosis. She caused me embarrassment at the pharmacy picking up a prescription that I never needed. She has also insulted my sister during a breast exam calling her small and boney. She is the worst Dr. out there and needs to be terminated. I know several people have reported her, yet she still remains with the practice.

She acts like a child and she shouldn't ever be anyone's doctor. She's snobby and condescending!!

I recently went to Dr. Halfhill as a new patient through the recommendation of the nurse at an other AHN dr's office. I was not happy with Dr. Halfhill's bedside manner at all. She took no time to get to know me as a patient. I was looking for long term contraception which she was not very informative of my options. I decided on the IUD & followed the instructions both she & her staff gave me at my appt. I called back to have the IUD placed & was unable to get an appt as instructed.

I would give her ZERO stars if I could. This was the worse gyne exam I ever had. She was not even in the room for 5 minutes and that included the exam. I felt like she was in a hurry to get to the next patient and had no time for me. She was not friendly at all and I had questions, but I never got a chance to ask them. I will not be going back to her again.

Receptionist is rude. Staff was arguing with each other. Dr. Halfhill always in a hurry and seems not interested in getting to know my concerns. Won't go back.

My pregnancy was a surprise, and I have lupus. I went into my first appointment with her as a scared, very high risk patient who was physically and mentally unprepared to have a baby. Dr. Halfhill efficiently eased my concerns and treated me with ultimate care, consideration, and skill level. I will say that she's straightforward and not one to sugar coat things, so I would recommend her to anyone who appreciates a compassionate straight-shooter and wants excellent care.
