Treats symptoms not illness
After my most recent experience with Dr. Civitella, I will be leaving this practice and finding a new doctor. They completely ignored what I was telling them and misdiagnosed my very serious illness, causing me days of undue stress, and letting my symptoms progress to a very dangerous point. The doctor that I went to after Dr. Civitella diagnosed me properly in less than an hour and admitted me to the hospital. She seems like a nice person, but I need a competent doctor. If there was a zero star rating, that’s what I would rate this practice.

Dr. Civitella has been an amazing asset to my family's care. I saw her as well as my children when she was with Dr. Frechette at Monadnock Family Care. She was a huge factor in my daughter getting proper mental health and was instrumental in my own challenging diagnosis.

My doctor retired and her patients were sent to this doctor. I've been trying to get ahold of her for 2 days now with promises of a call back from her. In a time of need and questions and concerns about my ongoing Covid symptoms, the last thing I need is a ghost doctor in a time when I need serious answers. I would not recommend Dr. Civitella to anyone who needs professional advice in their time of need for it, you won't get it from this one!

After a 5 day hospital stay and 2 phone calls to the office to make a follow up appointment, the office NEVER responded to my calls after promising to call me back. I said i was in pain and needed an appointment. I ended up with a bladder infection and had to go to urgent care. I filed a formal complaint. YOU'RE FIRED.

I was a patient of hers for about 2-3 years. Recently, I was admitted to the hospital for a serious health issue and almost died. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. My husband had to reschedule an appointment I had with dr. Civitella which was scheduled when I was in the hospital. So, she was aware I was admitted to the hospital. Upon release, I was told to follow up with my primary care doctor. That Monday, when the office opened, my husband called her office and explained the situation.

Dr. Civitella is a wonderful doctor. I'm pretty healthy so I don't see her that often, but when I do I'm impressed with her professional, straight-forward, thorough approach. And she's young enough to last awhile!

Doesn't read charts before appointments or family medical history. Makes medication recommends to treat symptoms, but doesn't appear interested in finding the underlying cause. Has said some things that make me question her medical understanding. Explains in a way that has made me feel talked down to.
