Doesn’t listen & kind of rude
Had my first appointment with her. I didn’t necessarily pick her as my pcp, I just needed a doctor asap and she was the only one with soonish availability (I see why now). Overall, she lacked compassion, I felt like I almost was annoying her with my presence. I needed a refill on my medication and I also told her THREE times I think I have a UTI. At the end of my appointment, she said she’ll send out my medication refill and rushed me out... She didn’t even test me for my UTI or acknowledge that I said I had a UTI. It was super weird and I just left. She obviously doesn’t listen or care. Id rather just go to urgent care & get antibiotics there. I will not be seeing her again.

Very unprofessional
I’d discovered a small bump on my clavicle. Dr. Wetzel told me I was injured and it was a bone chip. I told her I wasn’t injured, and further I think I would know. I was instructed to do nothing but if it got bigger to return. Eventually it looked larger, so I made a follow up. Doc came in, arms crossed and stated: “What is it you want me to do for you?”. I replied: I don’t know, you said if it got bigger to come back, it did so here I am. After palpation, she stated: “I’ll just order an excision who do you want”? I had no idea. She stormed out saying I’ll just find someone. The short version is it wasn’t a bone chip. The longer version was it was Cancer. I found this person to be rude, seemingly bothered by my presence, and very unprofessional. I would not recommend.

Horrible doctor. If I could give a zero I would. Did a cry surgery on me and I did not even need it. I was in severe pain. Had side effects and permanent damage cause of it. She should not be able to practice ever!

Every doctor or other healthcare professional can have a bad day, and we all realize that. Sometimes, however, that one day turns into a habit of being substandard more often. Second opinions are always called for no matter what the issue. Please be PROACTIVE with your own healthcare and be an active participant with your medical well being.

I am completely unsatisfied with my overall experience. The doctor and staff are confrontational. They do not have the patient's best interest at heart. Be ready for a recommendation to the emergency room if they don't feel like accomodating you. There was only ome nurse out of all the staff that was professional and actually listened to my concerns. She kept the doctor in check in the midst of a poor situation.

Very rude and condescending. Zero bedside manner and didn't take my concerns seriously. Went to another doctor & he immediately referred me for testing that diagnosed me with a stage 4 disease. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Wetzel has been extremely hard to work with, I had to switch primary doctors to another office to get the care I needed. She walked out of an appointment while I was still talking to her, and said she had other patients.

This is a very poor doctor. I have been an established patient of hers for several years. I had an emergency situation and was given no help by her or her rude staff. She will not call you back or get on the phone. You have to play phone tag with her staff who are unsure of the info they are giving you. She is lazy to follow up on labs. Be warned you are risking your health by seeing this woman.

Dr. Wetzel was completely rude to me on our first, and very last appointment. She refused to give me much needed medication even though I had not even asked. She lectured me on smoking when she is obese, and obesity is killing many more people than smoker's now! She compared my surgery's to her husband's, which clearly nobody is the same by ANY stretch of the imagination. Moreover, complained her husband just had another surgery and she was stuck driving everyone now! Horrible woman.
