Dr. Sidman and her team are fantastic!

I asked Dr. Sidman about options for weight-loss and was blown away by how rude she was to me. She took over 15 minutes to tell me I was stealing time and medicine from people with diabetes (what??? I'm not on medicine for this), asked me three times why I like to yo-yo in weight (which, obviously, is not a real question, no one likes to yo-yo and I never said I did), and to tell me her own weight loss experiences (when of course a doctor should talk about the science of weight loss, not her own personal anecdotes). I was shocked. Went to a new primary physician and got some real options/information about treatments for weight loss with and without medicine. The new primary asked when Sidman had last taken my blood and I said never. He was shocked. Got my blood drawn right away, and will be doing it each year as apparently I should be doing with my age, and Sidman never mentioned this. Do not go to Dr. Sidman if you want scientific advice from a knowledgeable doctor.

Dr. Sidman has been my doctor for 6 or 7 years. She literally saved my life a few years ago. She listens and understands that while she has a medical degree that patients are experts about their particular bodies and so she works with you on a care plan that encourages reasonable compliance. She treats her patients as if they were adults with a modicum of common sense. Im giving her 5 stars but that’s only because I can’t give her (and her lovely staff) 10.

Dr. Sidman is excellent. Her explanations are always evidenced based yet easy to understand. The staff who work in her office are also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Gainesville Family Physicians at Millhopper provides a professional and caring environment for your primary care needs. Dr. Sidman has been my family doctor for 20 years. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and is easy to talk to. I trust her many years of experience for all my all primary care needs.

I've been using Dr. Sidman for about 20 years and have always found her and her staff to be amazing. I can always get into see the doctor when I need to and I never feel rushed or that I'm not heard.

Dr. Sidman and her staff are be a great team. Patient care and attention are foremost to each of them.

Dr. Sidman is extremely knowledgeable in her field and takes great lengths to explain health issues, and the options for treatment. The office staff are friendly and responsive to urgent requests for appointments or communication with Dr. Sidman or her staff.

Dr. Sidman is always available and listens to what your concerns may be. She also has no problem telling you exactly how she sees it. She has been my doctor for 25+ years and I will continue to see her until one of us is not available any more :) Her office staff has always been exceptional and I never have a problem leaving a message for the nurse of making appointments for last minute sickness.

Dr. Sidman saw me in her office the morning I called for an appointment. She diagnosed and treated my ailment professionally and listened with excellent bed side manner. She is knowledgeable, caring, and highly interested in helping the patient. I have been a patient of hers for several years and am very happy that she is my physician.

Very little wait time. Very cordial nurse assistants. Dr. Sidman is great. The right balance (for me) of professionalism and friendliness. Dr. Sidman is patient with questions and is very well informed.

Appreciate her candor and honesty. The office assistants are wonderful and most helpful!

My wife and I were patients of Dr. Sidman. We actually did find her to be very friendly, with good bedside. Unfortunately her staff is not so friendly and caring, particularly Pamela McClellan. She was very rude when I asked her to renew my BP medication without an appointment. I explained that I travel a lot for work and the hour plus drive was challenging for my schedule. She told me I should not have picked a Dr. closer to home. She told me I should see a telemedication service and dismissed me as patient. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical provider than at this practice. Unfortunately, this behavior is reflective of the whole practice. I would not recommend using Dr. Sidmans proctice. And yes, we already found a closer practice.

Very short waiting time. Great office staff. Pam is great always puts me at ease. Dr. Sidman is thorough, competent and always includes me in decisions.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Sidman ever since moving to Gainesville in 1995. She's a very thorough and caring physician who is always interested in the patient's good health. I can also say that she is straight forward in dealing with her patients and happy to answer any question fully. We have been very pleased with the care we have received from Dr. Sidman.

Yearly checkup, after a long time away. Dr. Sidman and all the others there were very helpful. Even though I can be extremely stubborn, Dr. Sidman persisted (I believe a common metaphoric phrase is "beat me about the head and shoulders") until I realized that I really should pay attention and follow my doctor's orders!

Dr. Sidman is the best! It’s easy to get appointments. I always get responses to my calls or emails. She spends as much time with me as I need during my appointment. I recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

The way she treated my husband and I both the last time we were in the office was outright disrespectful. No doctor should ever treat a patient the way she treated us. Needless to say we found a new doctor the following day.

Excellent physician

Dr. Sidman always spends time with you. She's very thorough without being too quick on the draw to put you on medication, a thoughtful approach that I appreciate deeply.
