Dr. Jennifer Seminerio, MD

Dr. Seminerio and her team are excellent. On point and responsive. I feel taken care of with my IBD related issues.

Had an appointment for three plus months. Her office called two days before to cancel. They were also incredibly rude and unprofessional during the call.

It took me 14 years with Crohn's Disease to find a really excellent GI doc, and she is IT. Dr. S takes a team approach, and works WITH you to make decisions about IBD treatment. She listens, hears you, explains things, and has a great touch with patients. She is also medical school faculty and heads the IBD research program at USF, so you are getting cutting edge information. Scheduling is problematic with USF Health, and waits can be long, but Dr. Seminerio is worth the minor hassles. It is rare to find such a people-centered physician, and I am finally getting IBD treatment that's working!

This physician has the worst bedside manner I have seen. An extremely incompetent physician. Sadly the only person who gets penalized in this situation is the patient. Poor follow up Crohns management, 4 months of follow up calls with nothing but excuses and misleads related to plan of care. Mismanagement of medical documents, labs and overall very poor physician. Use great tact if you see this physician you will be working hard to ensure anything gets done. Office called and cancelled appointment 1 day before appointment after waiting 3 months. Do yourself a favor and avoid the gross negligence of this doctor.

Dr Seminerio is the only doctor (not just GI) that I've had that has truly listened and worked with me as a patient. She spends time, asks questions, and authentically cares about you. She and I worked together on a plan to get my Crohn's into remission and keep it in remission throughout my pregnancy (which worked!) I trust her implicitly.

I am a retired MD with IBD. I have seen her for about two years. She is fantastic. She takes time and has a great bedside manner. She is knowledgeable and honest.

As a Crohns’s patient, she is hands down the best doctor I’ve see. However, her staff is grossly incompetent! Scheduling, insurance filing, and getting back to your about important medical issues have all been an consistent issue. You’ll have to call 10 times to get anything done. They are all very young and don’t seem that interested or are overworked, I don’t know which. She deserves a top-notch staff and doesn’t have it. It’s been very stressful dealing with this office!

I absolutely Love Dr. Seminerio. She is very knowledgeable, when she met with me she introduced herself & explained what she does & why she does it. She showed deep concern for my condition. Dr Seminerio had a great bed side manner & took her time getting to know my history & what were my current concerns were. she dove write in to start a treatment plan to get my Chron's into remission. I have complete trust & faith with Dr. Seminerio. I highly recommend her.
