Dr. Jennifer Rumpf, MD

I transferred to Dr. Rumpf at 32 weeks pregnant after my previous OB-GYN announced she was leaving private practice to become a hospitalist. My husband and I took the recommendation of our ultrasound technician at Austin MFM, who was a patient of hers, and decided to call her office and book an appointment. Within my first meeting with her, I wished we had started our conception journey with her and knew that she would be my doctor long after our son was born.Her two front office ladies are simply wonderful and complete pros who handle everything from records to scheduling to insurance. They’d know my name when I walked in, asked about my son in post op visits, and were generally a pleasure to work with. I’ve seen many good OB-GYNs in my life, but usually, their staff is either rude, non-responsive, or completely kills the good vibes. I truly believe a doctor's reputation is only as good as their staff :)

The doctor was very busy and there were long wait times; the entire visit took over 2 hours with maybe 10-15 of that being from the doctor. I waited in the waiting room for almost an hour, then once the MA took me back, waited almost another hour before the Dr came in to visit. She apologized for being behind and said she couldn't perform all the things she would like to in due to lack of time and to please reschedule another visit. I rescheduled and the wait times were similar and was told I would need another reschedule appointment to go further.
