Knowledgeable and personable
Dr. Messinger has been my gynecologist for years, and more recently she was my provider throughout my pregnancy and delivery of my son. She also is my sister’s provider. We both love her. Dr. M is very caring, a great listener, and extremely knowledgeable. She always takes time to hear my questions and concerns and provides information to help. This was key when I had an expected health issue which required minor surgery. She stays current with the latest research and is happy to share that knowledge, discussing the big picture and not ignoring the individual experience and differences. I feel really respected and empowered in my and my baby’s own health and care. Dr. M is also always on time, which I think shows her respect for her patients. I couldn’t imagine switching to a different provider! She is the best OB/GYN I have experienced. The office and her colleagues are also awesome! Scheduling has always been easy.

Absolutely horrendous. Ignored the fact that exams hurt me without trying to find a reason, making me feel humiliated. Turns out I have a genetic issue that made it a miracle I even carried to term. Didn’t listen to me about my birthing plan, and didn’t even end up delivering my child because of it. Only saving grace was her office, and the ultrasound tech that was incredible.

Robin is amazing. She has delivered all four of my children and takes the time to really explain things. She is so caring and compassionate i would recommend her to anyone needing an obgyn.

Dr Messinger has delivered 3 of my babies and had to do a D&C for a loss. She will be delivering my 4th baby as well! She is an amazing doctor. Both my husband and I trust her advice and opinions both medically and personally. I couldn’t imagine seeing any other OB/GYN.

Dr Messinger is AMAZING! So caring and compassionate toward myself and my family. She has always gone out of her way to make me feel as if my care and concerns are taken care of. Her staff is great and very friendly! I have women in my family and many friends that see her as patients as well and they all love her and her staff! I always recommend her office.

Dr. Messinger is not the doctor you're looking for if you need regular, compassionate women's care, especially for painful conditions. Her nurse is one of the most cranky medical professionals I have ever met, and Dr. Messinger is dismissive, especially if you get an appointment close to the end of the day. I do not recommend Dr. Messinger to any woman looking for a gynecologist. Go to NW OB/GYN instead.
