Not an expert in Endometriosis
I suffered for decades from problematic reproductive and gastro symptoms and was suspicious I had endometriosis. I had an exploratory laparoscopy done with her because I was told she specialized in endo. During the laparoscopy, it was found that I had adhesions covering a large portion of my pelvic area and wrapped around my intestines. She used ablation to remove the diseased tissue, and because of her method (burning off the top layer of endo), all of the tissue sent to the lab came back as inconclusive. She wouldn't diagnose me with endometriosis even after what she found and removed, and the photos of my surgery alone should have been enough. I was in pain tenfold after this surgery and she shrugged it off. I found a surgeon in Portland who performed another laparoscopic surgery 1 year later using the gold standard for removal, excision. All of my labs came back positive for endometriosis. If you are suffering from endometriosis, I would find a different provider.

Negligent
I chose Dr. Melville because she specializes in endometriosis surgery. I went in because of suspected endometriosis and over three years the only thing she offered was an IUD replacement and am ultrasound. Ultrasounds don't diagnose endometriosis. It was noted that one of my ovaries was tender during the ultrasound, something she never addressed. She refused to take my symptoms seriously and ignored my pain. I went to another doctor who immediately took me seriously. I had stage 4 endometriosis infilrating my everything. The reason my ovary has been painful is because it had been encased in endometriosis and had started to twist. Day one after surgery I was in less pain than I had been in since I was 14. Dr. Melville is directly responsible for me having at least 3 additional years of excruciating pain.

Great pre-natal care, she remember issues and discussed/followed up. She was patient answering my questions, i was confident in her knowledge and her care. She provided great support. The facility was amazing, with close access to hospital and ultrasound services.
