She just stopped returning our calls for appts
We were so grateful for Dr. Lowry, during the pandemic when my daughter (with ADHD) was having debilitating panic attacks right before the mandated return to HS for her junior year. She was able to stabilize her on the right medications for ADHD and panic disorder. Then after about 5 months, with no explanation at all, she stopped returning our calls for appts. I know the pandemic was especially hard on MH and BH health providers who were also suffering, but a simple email would have helped a lot. Luckily our pediatrician provided the refills for her medications. I strongly advise against anyone seeking help from this incredibly irresponsible doctor. As I frantically sought referrals for other pediatric MH BH doctors, I heard of at least one other parent who's teen had the same experience.

Dr. Lowry is a great doctor, I admit. She got me on the right combination of medications to be as stable as I have ever been. However, scheduling is a nightmare. At PCSD, you would often wait over an hour past your appointment time to be seen. At her private practice, the problem is the same. I waited 30 minutes and finally told the receptionist that this is unprofessional and I am no longer a patient. If you have time to wait (literally) hours, by all means make an appointment.

Sometimes there is a wait at the office, but I always assume that somebody before me has an urgent matter that is taking a little more time. I also feel she is 100% there for me, and if I needed an extra few minutes to understand something she would take the time. I feel like she really hears me when I talk to her, I could not imagine seeing somebody else. I have recommended her and will continue to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great psychiatrist.
