Dr. Lohne would not believe me when I told her my symptoms. She said I was thinner than the average woman so I should be happy with my newly distended stomach & associated symptoms that I was trying to have treated. She insisted I was making up my symptoms and offered me laxatives or therapy for anti-depressants. After being treated like a crazy woman for a year, I was defeated and figured this was just my life now. Finally 6 years later, I got the courage to try again and this time found a doctor who cared enough to look for the problem. I have a grapefruit sized fibroid that requires surgery for removal. Apparently this fibroid showed up on the scans 6 years ago, but no one thought it was the cause of my symptoms and ignored it! I lost 6 years of my life due to Dr. Lohne's negligence and was treated like a hypochondriac.

I had a phone visit with this doctor at Kaiser, I waited for the phone appointment from the appointed time to one hour later, she did not call me. and then she closed the workflow saying I did not keep the appointment

I meet with this doctor years ago and requested to be tested for the BRCA gene because I am adopted. She denied me and was extremely rude. Years later I discover that my biological mother died at 40 from breast cancer and my brother had stage 3 cancer. She basically prolonged the inevitable for me and I do not appreciate what she did. I hope that she can see this message one day. I urge people to advocate for themselves because it can save a life. I am a doctor now and I know more! Dr. M

Absolutely NEVER responds to messages on the Kaiser website. She wants you to take time out to come into her office and pay the copay just to ask for a prescription refill or a referral. If you do email her, she’ll have some unqualified nurse respond. Never had a Kaiser doctor as uninterested in follow up and unresponsive as dr. Lohne. If she’s so “overwhelmed” why is she taking new patients?
