Absolutely love her! She’s ver compassionate.
Dr. Listerman is absolutely wonderful! She takes her time with me and I trust her completely. She’s always been thorough and thoughtful about my care. She’s performed a heart cath and my tests were positive but she detected other issues that my primary care provider had missed. I won’t see another cardiologist as long as she is available unless she recommends it.

I would never see her again
She kept me in the hospital for a week trying to determine whether or not to do a heart catheterization. She wouldn’t directly answer any of my questions. After 5 days of me being in the hospital she decided I should have a heart catheterization. I asked who would be doing it. She wouldn’t give me a straight answer so I told her I wanted Dr. Velury to do it. She said she would be doing it. She had put me on her list but he would be in there. After going back and forth about who would be doing it she relented and put me on his list. She wasn’t happy about it at all. When I was wheeled into the procedure room she was standing at the back of the room with her arms crossed staring at me, but did not acknowledge me at all, which made me very nervous. The numbing of my wrist was extremely painful and should not have been. I often wonder who was numbing me. I was not happy with her as a physician at all. I would never let her treat me again!

Dr. Listerman on May 17, 2019, I went in for a TIA, mini stroke, she seen me to do a TEE, it is an echocardiogram but done going through the mouth,.down the throat. She lacerated my esophagus multiple times failed to report it. I could have died, I almost did. I spent almost two months in two different hospitals. I was unable to eat or drink for two months. I had a feeding tube. Thanks to one nurse and Dr. Bronstein, he was able to save me. I have permanent damage. I wouldn't let that woman touch my worse enemy. She should be fired.
