Dr. Jennifer Hamner, DO

Office staff were OK. Assistant was kind, informative, and gentle; she did preliminary tests. Fellow doctor did exam and was informative and kind. Dr. Hammer only talked 'at me' and was dismissive, which really came through in the clinical report... I felt misrepresented in the report. Overall, I didn't feel listened to and now, there are so many questions. When I read the clinical report, I was stunned at how much information was in it that was not discussed with me. In general, the appointment seemed disjointed.

When I first met Dr. Hamner i thought she was rude but she had good reviews so I had surgery with her. Since having surgery she has continued being rude and doesn’t listen to the patient

This was a referral visit, so my 1st time experience with Dr. Hamner & her staff. The CMA, Leah, was very pleasant and professional. She explained the sequence of what was going to be done & why before I saw the physician. I was very nervous about this appointment and she made me feel comfortable with everything. Was first seen by Dr. Weiss (fellow) who did exam explaining each step as he did exam. Detailed information given and collaborated by Dr. Hamner for final step of visit. I have been an RN for over 40 years & probably more critical than the average patient. In this case, I left the office feeling very confident in the care & advice given!

Dr. Hamner was my surgeon for my hysterectomy with pelvic floor reconstruction. She and her team were passionate, kind, honest, and straightforward from beginning to end. I was well cared for and felt supported throughout the process.

I found her to be dismissive, not open to suggestions and she made me feel uncomfortable. (2 visits with her) I gave one star because her office staff was pleasant and helpful. I was surprised of her good ratings, that was not my experience at all. Never have I ever experienced a dr talking down to me and was surprised she has any patients. Felt like I was being scolded like a child… I am a good read of people and I should have trusted my feelings after the first encounter and found someone else!
