Dr. Hailey agreed to see me during a crisis a few months ago. I appreciated her humor, directness, honesty, and overall approach. I don’t understand other reviewers saying she’s rude, but maybe that’s because I’m not a sensitive little baby and I appreciate a health professional giving it to me straight. I find her humorous and charming. Dr. Hailey helped correct a misdiagnosis and correct my medication treatment plan in a way that gave me back my life. I’m no longer having ideations, my mood is stable, my marriage was saved and I’m employed again. None of that would have been possible without Dr. Hailey’s insight, wisdom, experience, and expertise.

I do not recommend.
Telehealth
I agree with the other negative reviews. I saw her via doctor on demand when I was at my most vulnerable with anxiety, and the first psychiatrist I had seen to talk about taking medication. She was not kind and didn’t even say “hello.” She was harsh and told me to talk to my therapist about anxiety. I cried after. I did not have any other appointments with her after, and luckily found a wonderful psychiatrist. I am so shocked she is in the psychiatry field, where patients are at their most vulnerable with mental health conditions. Compassion and empathy are needed. If you have a negative experience with her, please find another psychiatrist! There are so many kind psychiatrists out there.

Doctor on Demand - Bad Experience
I saw Dr. Hailey through Doctor on Demand for about 6 months. She was intense, but I was hopeful. After I missed an appointment, I felt so so judged by her. I cried after the appointment. If I hadn't been motivated to get better, I may not have ever gone back to a psychiatrist again because she delivered such shame. Thankfully, I found another AMAZING psychiatrist on Doctor on Demand. But I am so disappointed by Dr. Hailey, and grateful that I didn't give up after this tough experience. She may be a good psychiatrist, but if you don't have thick skin, she's not for you.

Bedside manner: 0 Empathy: 0 Ask you how you are?: 0 Making you feel like you are an interruption in her day: 10 Worst experience I have ever had with a care provider. She should not be providing care to vulnerable populations.

No Bedside Manner
If you are looking for a psychiatrist with bedside manner, this is not your gal. She never once started the session by saying "hi" or "hello". She's very straight to the point and abrasive. I never felt comfortable or safe communicating my needs to her; I felt judged and belittled. I truly wish I would have seen the other reviews before wasting my time and money with her.

Extremely rude across both visits. Overtly irritated with having to see a patient. Asked how many anxiety attacks I've had recently, to which I responded "3"; to which she replied indignantly "only that many... ok". Also refused angrily refused service when I was out of town because of the states in which she can conduct her business (this is understandable, but communicated harshly. Comes off as an unhappy person who is going to only harm her future patients' mental health.

I saw Dr. Hailey for some time. But, she really didn't listen to me, and at times, was abrasive and insensitive. I get the sense that she is not happy in her field of psychiatry, and doesn't practice like most psychiatrists do.

Dr. Hailey is absolutely fantastic. I began seeing her a year ago. She gave me a correct diagnosis when other doctors could not. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder but in reality I had PTSD. She got me on the correct medication and therapy. She helped me get back to a normal life. I saw other reviews that she was harsh and blunt. She’s TRUTHFUL. A good provider does not sugar coat issues. Just because you don’t like the truth doesn’t mean she’s a bad provider.

Can be quite harsh and blunt with her words, which is not necessarily an ideal demeanor for treating patients suffering from mental illness. Flat out told me Cognitive Behavioral Therapy does not work. I understand it may not be the right answer for every patient, but to completely shut down an entire type of therapy treatment to patients right off the bat is quite bizarre. She even mentioned as an example a client that had the same relationship issues over and over again in life and well into her older years due to not addressing them with the 'right' type of therapy and only being treated by CBT, which is ineffective according to her. I felt uncomfortable with her talking about another client with me, even if she kept the issues vague. It felt inappropriate and judgmental of the client. I left feeling kind of discouraged and offended.

She claims to be a compassionate individual who has a whole life treatment, however that was not my experience in the least. I would not recommend her to anyone, I think she has a long way to go in her own path before she should be trying to help others in such a way. I found her rude, aggressive, and she hindered me more then she helped. I can not tell you enough how much you should avoid her at all costs from my experience.

Worst appointment I’ve ever had. I ended up literally sobbing by the end of it. Not only was she rude, corrected me and my terminology while trying to describe my feelings not once but twice, and attempted to diagnose me with borderline personality disorder, this woman actually asked me multiple invasive, inappropriate, and triggering questions about the events that lead to my PTSD, completely unprompted and without asking if I was open to discussing or answering questions about anything so personal. I entered the intake appointment needing help and advice, already at a low point, and left in tears and absolute shock. I’m not at all surprised to see multiple other terrible reviews. This individual obviously has strong personal biases and dangerous beliefs that are causing real harm to patients. I hope people see this and run the opposite way, preventing her from harming even one more individual.

After 25 minutes she suggested my whole family has borderline personality disorder. I can assure you we do not. Living through a pandemic is difficult and Dr. Hailey lacks compassion, decency, and morality. Run!

My Wife just got off of the phone with Dr Hailey very upset because she was completely RUDE to her. During a telehealth visit, she came on and didn't even introduce herself! She immediately told my wife what she was NOT going to do. And then ended the call. Hey lady! Maybe you should practice introducing yourself and ask how your pt is doing. Even if you don't think you would be a good fit!!! You DONT start a telehealth or any other kind of visit by starting out saying "First of all!" You are RUDE!
