Disappointing Patient Experience
I came to Dr. Daman struggling with issues very similar to Endo and experiencing extreme pain around my period for years. She did not listen or hear any of what I had to say. Basically said to me 'you need to go on birth control and I can get any other doctor in here to tell you the same thing.' Even if that was the case, did not offer any other options or pathways. The whole experience was very impersonal. This appointment made me feel crazy for doing research and thinking i may have Endo. I no longer see Dr. Daman because of this visit.

Dr. Damien cares and her staff
I am a regular patient of Dr. Damien and I wouldn’t see anyone else in the tufts practice cause I have problems with them but not Dr. Damien she listens cares and finds an answers. She may be in a rush sometimes but she doesn’t make me feel less important she tells me she way behind or a ready comes up I understand cause she delivers babies those are top priorities Even the best doctors can’t diagnose everything I would take Dr. Damon over any doctor in that OBGYN my office and nurse practitioner. The only other OBGYN I had was the one that delivered my daughter 26 years ago and she was awesome so I gave Dr. Damien five stars but everything.

Don't see her if you have pelvic pain
Dr Daman made unnecessary comments about my chart regarding testing for other symptoms which ended up being from may thurner syndrome, which caused pelvic congestion syndrome causing my pelvic pain. I also have adenomyosis which was not brought up after my ultrasounds I had done to check for endometriosis. The second time I saw her she again, told me my symptoms didn't fit endometriosis when they did. My pcp told me to get another opinion and luckily Dr Daman gave me a referral to a wonderful urogynecologist who took me seriously and told me I most likely have endometriosis. She agreed that a laparoscopy would be a good idea given my family history, adenomyosis and symptoms. I can absolutely can handle when someone is straight forward and to the point, which is one thing, but to make uncalled for comments about your medical history is not ok, especially during vulnerable times. If you're in pain go elsewhere

Stay far away if you’re having pelvic pain. She told me I was constipated and rushed me out of her office after a trip to the ER the night before. Turns out I have endometriosis. I found a wonderful doctor who excised it May 10. He believed me immediately. I can’t believe a female doctor would be so dismissive to another woman’s pain.
