Disappointed
I have seen Dr. Cool for over 2 years now. She is very direct. Initially I liked that. But when I recently saw her for unknown flank pain lasting a month, she was condescending, critical and rude. She said it was due to an adhesion from my gallbladder surgery 15 years ago! I was quite angry when I left. I then saw her again for my Wellness exam 2 weeks later. (I considered canceling and finding another PCP.) But I decided I would tell her how I felt at the last visit. I told her what I stated above, and she paused and said OK and looked at our last visit. She offered an apology, and she slowed way down, listened and was very thorough. I found a lack of empathy and compassion from her. To state the many details as to all that was said to me, I feel would be redundant and quite negative. I am just going to find a new PCP.

I don’t know why some people complain but I’ve known Dr. Cool for 15 years and I’ve never ever had a better doctor. The front office is first class class as to everyone else I’ve met there full stop.

worthless DR.
Have had two annuals with Dr. Cool both times she listens to your heart says your fine, then has Sonora Quest do a basic CBC. Then she has the staff call with results of blood work. She is not a partner with your health concerns. I have three life threating conditions one being a new cancer condition. Do you think she would consult with help ?, a big fat NO!!!. I could go on with other examples of her disregard for your health.

Dr Cool was very dismissive with me and talked to me like I was trash when I expllained my insurance would not cover injections for my type 2 diabetes. I have concerns about my circulation and was told so? Don't come back in unless it is really bad. My medication has side effects I feel are not good for me and she increased the dose. I am looking for a new PCP who will be compassionate and concrened about my symptoms.

Dr Cool took her time in the room with me and was very thorough. Her staff was great as well. Only issue I had was with the grumpy lady who drew the blood. Her bedside manner was awful.

My experience with Dr. Cool and her staff has gone very well, BUT they have a women that works for Senora Quest working there and she is the ruddiest grouchy OLD woman I have ever encountered - SHE NEEDS TO GO.! This is the second time I've been there for blood work, and the first time I thought "oh maybe she is having a bad day" but no...I find out she is rude like that ALL THE TIME. I don't need to deal with someone like that especially when I am dealing with medical issues. She makes Dr. Cool and her team look very bad. I am thinking about finding another Dr. if this is expectable at a doctors office.

I have tried to call three times. Three times they answer but they can't hear me. Now they've blocked my number. Seems like the problem is on their side because I haven't experienced similar problems calling other people. I think for them to jump to such conclusions and the best option is to block me most likely speaks volumes of their seemingly careless staff the most likely office culture.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cool's for 3 years and had always been satisfied with her service until this week. I have been trying to coordinate a cancer diagnosis and care only to find out Dr. Cool can't see me for weeks. And when I requested a pain medication for a 5 breast biopsy procedure I was told to take aspirin. That this pain would not warrant a pain prescription! Way to show compassion Dr. Cool.

Surprised by reviews I just read. She is a great doctor I'd highly recommend as I've seen Dr. Cool since about 2012 after a serious condition I've over came. People complain over anything. Abuse of reviews.

At first appointment she was dismissive and flippant. She prescribed a medication that the pharmacy would not fill because of a contraindication with another medication. Her interview is scattered and not thorough. She did not perform a physical examination. Good luck getting help outside of office hours. No call backs. No Dr on call.

I feel like the other recent patients, the people here are just phoning it in,and phoning it in will be how most of your care is conducted. There is none to answer questions, but you can leave a voicemail. Good luck in getting any response tho. Need to be seen quickly and don't have an appointment? They just tell you to go to Urgent Care. I walk away feeling that if they could make a profit without ever having to see patients, they would jump on it.

Dr. Cool's manner goes beyond poor bedside manner. For several years now I've walked away feeling she was just going through the motions and had no actual concern for my health. That was confirmed recently when she failed to respond appropriately to problems with my bloodwork. I called the office and asked for a referral to a specialist, and never got a return call. I self referred to a specialist and just had surgery for the condition that Dr. Cool failed to recognize. NEVER going back!

I am sad to say that I am breaking my patient Dr relationship with Dr. Cool after many years of good service. I recently had a server case of hashimoto's and was not happy with my Endo Dr. I called Cools office and she said NO.........NO she would not treat me. Mind you she treats others with thyroid issues and REFUSED to treat someone she has known for years. GAVE ME NO EXCUSE other than NO. I have been horribly ill and trying to find another Dr over night has been impossible. WHAT DR SAYS NO??

i came as new patient, but also with a health issue at the time, thought I would be given a wellness check. Not so, however medicine prescribed helped my problem. But, when I experienced a scare of extremely high BP, over 180/90 and called to see dr, no return call after two days. I called again, staff person said they scheduled an appt to see dr, but no one had called me at all. Dr is nice, but I cannot have a dr whose staff does not call patient. Still looking for a new dr with caring staff
