Been sorta busy the last few days, but have to give a big shout out to Guthrie hospital in Corning and especially to Dr. Jennifer Coben (ophthalmology) and her staff. From checking in on the 1st floor, to checking in on the 3rd floor, to the young man that did my visual field and other tests, to Dr. Coben's nurse all were so accommodating and polite, each of them explained what they were doing and why they are doing it, not so much medical terminology but in words you can understand....they make you feel so at ease and welcomed, you don't feel like your just a number but more like family....in closing the one of the best parts is the nurse is a hotdog lover, and Dr. Coben's brother is a U.S.Marine stationed at Marine corps base Quantico VA, which was my last duty station....

Dr. Coben was both professional and kind. She took extra time to explain my diagnosis and treatment in a way that I could understand. I have already recommended her to my family and friends as she is an excellent doctor who truly cares for her patients.

Dr. Coben is a current resident at Wake Baptist Eye Center. She is very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. The tech that checked my vision and got me ready to see her was very complimentary of her and said she very much enjoys working with Dr. Coben. I was very impressed and will hopefully see her again!

This doctor is currently a resident. She is curt and rude. I've never felt so belittled by a doctor before. I hope that as she continues to grow and learn, she realizes that her responsibility is to care for others. Her attitude and demeanor towards patients/other staff members could use work.
