Lots of waiting time, but very nice staff

We moved to the area about 2.5 years ago and we have really valued the attention to detail Dr. caicedo has provided when it comes to our child’s allergies.

I moved to NC from Northern CA and rented what appeared to be a nice home. Within two weeks, I make a visit to the ER and diagnosis acute allergic reaction. I found Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center. In my first visit, I explain to Dr Caicedo that mold allergies run in my family history and I'm pretty sure that's what landed me in the ER. I do the allergy testing I have 10 ariborne allergies. In the testing results sheet, severe allergies are marked with a 2+ and all other allergies a 1+. I had a 2+ for mold, specifically Cladosporium. This type of mold is in the air here almost year round, but worst in the Summer. I start my shot therapy and six months into the therapy the technician that day informs me that Cladosporium is not part of my therapy. Heart dropped to my feet. Dr. Caicedo later explained to me that she or a staff member can make the decision to include/exclude allergens if they think the price is to high for the patient. However, someone forgot to ask me or tell me.
