I was totally amazed and grateful for the care gentleness and knowledge that Dr. Whitehead showed. I was very nervous about my eye condition and he set me at ease with his expertise and kindness. I have not had such a wonderful experience in a physicians office for many many years. He also has a wonderful staff who follow his example in the exam room.

AMD
Learning you have AMD is disturbing. I felt comfortable and confident that Dr. Whitehead is very up to date on latest treatments, which don't sound pleasant. Happens quickly, therefore not as bad as it sounds. The staff is pleasant, caring, and I am glad that I have these people caring for me! They do make me feel positive.

Office staff not friendly. He walks in the room really doesn't look you in the eye and you get this feeling like you are a pain in his butt. He's messy looking and seems in a hurry and doesn't really address your concerns and questions all that much. Waste of my time. I don't recommend.
