Dr. Jeffrey Wang, MD

Doctor Wang and his staff are amazing and genuinely concerned about identifying and treating your pain conditions. Initially I met with Kelsie Look who is Doctor Wang’s physicians assistant. Kelsie performed the most comprehensive evaluation to help identify each area that I was experiencing pain, numbness and discomfort. Kelsie is extremely knowledgeable and super fun to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and does an excellent job of putting together a detailed summary, which she presents to Doctor Wang. After Kelsie meets with Doctor Wang to discuss her evaluation, they met with me and that is when I knew I was in great hands. Instead of providing a treatment without knowing the conditions of my lumbar spine and sacrum, Doctor Wang requested that I have a lumbar and sacrum MRI to determine the what treatments are necessary. Dr. Wang is very nice, we talked before my procedure and he explained everything to me about my procedure. Doing my procedure he explained to me everything while doing it. I really appreciate and respect his work ethics. His staff is Awesome People, very nice and they make me feel comfortable.

I went into this appointment optimistic. I have been in pain for 5 years now. He told me my only option was a pain pump with 24/7 opioids. I told him I did not want opioids. He told me that was my only option. I left very disappointed and in pain still.

He's the worst doctor I'ver ever had to deal with. I went 3 times with no result except pain. The 3rd time I jumped off the table. I always pay my bills but the female office manager said she'd ruin my credit if I was late and owed a fee. That is so much --. I had to wait over an hour each time. Put an IV in me to alleviate the pain but never injected anything in to my arm. Still billed me for it. Very unfriendly unlikeable office and doctor."STAY AWAY"!

Respectful, ethical, caring. Dr. Wang along with his expert staff, demonstrate a commitment to relieving pain in a competent, thoughtful and responsible manner. Their organizations unique approach to effective pain management offers their patients the best practices available anywhere to protect patient health and safety. This group understands and honors the profound responsibility they have in their hands. As a pain patient for 35-years, I’ve had a number of providers of varying quality. I have never felt as confident and well-cared for as I do today with the skills and excellent patient practices of Honolulu Pain Management Center. I do understand that complying with an organization’s “Patient Safety Program” may be inconvenient at times but, I know personally, how devastating a poorly managed, pain management program can be. This doctor is a very professional device and drug specialist in fighting the symptoms of pain not cause of pain. Office and Staff would receive a "No Comment" if I were reviewing as an inspector. Below form does not provide a systemic review of the issue. SInce I am ADHD anytime spent doing something I do not want to do is problematic.

Waited over a month to be told injections of steroids is all they offer. Complete waste of time. This guy is not friendly, and they are very rude people. They will refuse to give any pain management besides steroids. They told me to go back to my primary care doctor like he can figure it out!

I have seen many doctors for my chronic back pain. Since last year, I have been seeing Dr. Wang and I have to tell you that he is a caring, kind, and involved physician. I am so happy that he manages my pain meds. I had three epidural injections which did not work, unfortunately. He was always encouraging, and honest. If every doctor was like him, there would be less lawsuits and better medical care!!!!

Been seening DR Wang for about 5 years for pain pump refills,office personnel are great and no problems and longest I had to wait is 15 mins.I would recommend DR Wang to anybody that wants the best care to help pain management

I've been Dr Wang's patient for over two years. Like many have said, he is a very straightforward doctor. I have found him, though, to be a deeply caring and committed doctor who wants nothing more than my improvement. He demands, by his actions, that I let him be the expert in the relationship. This may sound very simple but I've found many people want a doctor who simply agrees with their own assessment of their case. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Long time patient of Dr. Wang. He always took time to thoroughly explain my back issues and treated me accordingly. Eventually Dr. Wang performed surgery on my back, a successful procedure that undoubtably took care of the majority of my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Wang if you are serious about controlling/managing/resolving your pain issues.

Dr.Wang was very cruel the way he treated me, and talked to me. I ended up leaving crying. Total waste of time he was so ARRAGANT and rude. His receptionist told me when I complained, Dr.Wang sees rich people who pay cash to see him!, he's not worried about you and your Medicare ??????
