Dr. Jeffrey Wade, MD

While doing physical therapy for a herniated disc, I developed new symptoms. At the urging of my therapists, I returned to Dr. Wade. He basically dismissed me. He didn’t discuss any of my symptoms and didn’t explain why I could be experiencing my new symptoms. My visit lasted about 5 minutes with Dr. Wade ignoring my concerns. I won’t be going back. I do not recommend him.

Dr. Wade did surgery on my neck over 25 years ago and he did a wonderful job! Today I had an appointment with Dr. Wade for my lower back and the appointment could not have gone any better. First I was given an appointment within one week of after being referred. The staff in this office are professional and very kind! My appointment was prompt…no long wait at all! When Dr. Wade came in my room it was as if he had taken my chart home the day before and studied it for my appointment. He knew exactly why I was there, what modes of treatment I had exhausted trying to avoid surgery and told me he could see on my mri exactly what the problem is and how he can fix it. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with the surgery that Stephanie is making happen within 48 hours! Finally I will be able to sleep! Thank you Dr. Wade and Stephanie!!

I had a laminectomy procedure with Dr. Wade nine weeks ago and my symptoms have gotten much worse.  I feel like he rushed to a diagnosis of spinal stenosis without considering all the facts or even bothering to do a physical examination.  For example, the radiologist’s report after my MRI (which you should always get a copy of BTW) indicated a bulging disk at L4-L5 which was never addressed or even mentioned as a potential factor. Now that the surgery he recommended is clearly a failure, he only wants to kick me down the curb with steroid injections so he can move on the the next surgery.  On my last follow-up, Dr. Wade expressed no concern when I told him I couldn’t walk or maintain balance. He also seemed surprised when I told him my thighs were numb and tingling, even though I clearly stated this during the first visit and on my intake paperwork.  Now he’s saying I may have neuropathy and has referred me to a neurologist for nerve testing.  My experience and opinion is to stay away

As a new patient, Dr Wade was very professional and honest with his diagnosis. His staff was courteous and helpful.

Wanted more than an hour past appt time. Went in and dr wade never touched me or examined me in any way. May have spent 3 minutes with me. He said I should have an mri and that would be scheduled. Over week went by with no contact. When they did call I declined. Obvious to me that I was not important to this group. Never again

I have a problem talking to new people. Dr Wade makes me feel comfortable. He's not pushy he listens to you. He gives me goals to try to accomplish. Over all I'm not afraid to talk to him about anything.

Excellent service and care

Dr Wade is skilled, knowledgeable, and considerate. He took time to answer ALL my questions thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. He gave insight in how my treatment could look and the options available for my care. He realized extra diagnostics that should be done to make sure I got the best treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Wade.

I’ve known Dr.Wade for years! He is an excellent surgeon and a great guy. I used to work at a hospital where I took care of his patients. He took very good care of his patients and was respectful of the staff. Would definitely recommend him to others. On the day of my visit the office was crowded and the wait time was longer than usual but the staff was courteous and took care to inform us of the delays.

I didn't have to wait long and Dr.Wade and his nurses made me feel comfortable and he came up with a solution for my problem.

He is the best.
