An Amazing Medical Professional
He’s been my OB since I moved to Texas in 2014. His bedside manner is amazing and I’ve always felt heard. His nursing staff (Teresa and Evelyn) were/are top notch. I struggled with secondary infertility and when I finally was able to get pregnant, he immediately scheduled my c-section so that he could be there for my delivery. I was his last delivery as he no longer practices on the OB side.

I have been Dr. Thurston's patient for 30 years. He delivered both of my children. I have had excellent care from him and his staff, through two pregnancies and now through menopause. I highly recommend him.

Let me start by saying Dr. Thurston was not my doctor at the time that I went into labor, but he was the doctor on call that night. He performed my C-section and while doing so, he cut the Illiolingual nerve and left me in severe pain for months after I had my child. I had to have pain patches, medicines, and eventually a nerve block to allow me to walk normally. But the worst part about the whole thing was that he was unapologetic and also cruel when I went in to ask him what could be wrong.

Dr. Thurston is great - excellent bedside manner, put my fears to rest about the procedure I needed and is a delight to deal with every year for my wellness exam. His nurse is super nice, too and very professional. It's a terrific experience considering the setting.

Very kind and thorough. Spends a good amount of time explaining everything to you and has a great sense of humor. Makes what can be a very awkward appointment much lass awkward.
