Dr. Jeffrey Simmons, DMD

I went to Dr. Simmons for TMJ. I have been in pain many years. Have seen many dentists, oral surgeons and have had many procedures, treatments and meds. Dr. Simmons is the only one whose expertise has resulted in lasting relief for my TMJ, without surgery. Very professional, including staff. Highly recommend.

I left his office in tears, and he made no secret of the fact that he did not want me there. He already had my $$ (thousands), so he had me as a prisoner of his insensitivity. I have had dental PTSD since 1956. Now I have MS which doesn't do stress well...at all. He knew. He knew. We chose him because his fee was half that of 4 dentists we went to in NC, AND that he seemed nice enough. So we travel a great distance, pay him lots of $$ and we're stuck. He told us he did IV anesthesia. I would be asleep. I wasn't asleep enough to know I wasn't asleep (make sense?), but too "relaxed" to get up and run. He told us Mike could be with me for final procedure of opening up gums for posts. He said that was against his policy. When I reminded him of what he had said, he was offended. I had insinuated he was a liar. Well? Now, 2 days post-procedure my MS is still in overdrive. Do no harm? The last promise (in writing) he will ever break to me. Dr. Simmons was very helpful and explained the procedures that would comply with my dental needs. He is very thoughtful and eager to explain the processes needed for your specific goals.

Dr. Simmons is very personable and great at what he does! He listens to my concerns. I'm going for the 3rd time today and will continue to see this Dr. In the furure! Thanks Doc.....being x navy also a plus!!.....Bob

This was the worst experience of my life and because of this man's incompetence I am left with a life long painful dysfunction of my jaw. Not only is he a terrible doctor but he's not even nice. He will talk down to you and treat you like you're bothering him. He didn't listen to me or care about me.

I HAD NOT BEEN TO A DENTIST IN A WHILE AND HAD A BACK TOOTH BROKE TO THE GUM. I WAS DEALING WITH IT FOR A WHILE AND WHEN MY SISTER IN COLUMBIA SC REFERRED ME TO DR. SIMMONS. HE WAS VERY NICE AND TOOK HIS TIME EXPLAINING WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. HE WAS GREAT AND HIS STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, I DO NOT LIVE IN GREENVILLE AND THE FRONTDESK LADY STAYED ON THE PHONE WITH TILL I FOUND THE OFFICE. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Dr. Simmons has a great way of explaining the procedures, that are comforting to make your visits, less stressful hes' very informative.
