I was sent to Dr. Shuhaiber in July 2018. I’m from western mass , and after an echocardiogram at my own cardiologist, it was determined that I may need a new aortic valve. I have never meet him or any experience with his office. My first appointment we discussed what I needed, I kind of knew this was coming. But Dr. shuhaiber’s approch was not what I expected. He ordered ct scan, blood work, X-rays, and heart catheterization . He said we need to know everything, no surprises. Surgery was great.

My husband had a triple bipass and valve replacement surgery done by Dr. Shuhabier in August 2018. Dr. Shuhabier and the entire staff at Baystate Medical Center we’re a professional and caring team of experts. We would highly recommend Dr. Shuhabier and his team of professionals.

Dr. Shuhaiber just treated my 76yr old father. In one surgery he replaced a valve, repaired 2 other valves, fixed a blocked artery and fixed an aneurysm. He went to battle for my father- my dad went in around 8am and the doctor came to speak to us at 9pm. I can't thank him enough for saving my father's life. He is an amazing surgeon and I can't THANK HIM ENOUGH!

Great doctor and would send any family member to him! Has trained in all the top hospital such as Harvard and Cleveland Clinic. Knows what he is talking about and is very honest about risks. I had an excellent experience with him and trust him fully. He spent the time with me and my family to explain everything in terms we can understand. He is a very humble and humane person.
