Dr. Jeffrey Shoss, MD

Dr. Shoss managed a very complicated problem with my husband amazingly well. Our home health care nurse is referring him patients because she sees firsthand the great work he does. He gave us hope where other urologists not so much.

Dr. Shoss is thorough in his explanation, uses great analogies to help explain complex medical terms, and lays out all options with clarity and rationale. I was with my father in this appointment and was highly impressed with his skill and kindness. I highly recommend him.

He is very concerned about his patients. He takes care of the problem right away and doesn’t make you wait.

Best urologist so far (and I’m 72). Did a thorough work up & exam before discussing various procedures available. He spend a very adequate amount of time answering my questions. The office visit was to establish a contact with a urologist

Dr. Shoss was on call for urology at Baylor Med Center Plano, he attended to my husband's problems. He was very knowledgeable and caring. His bedside manner was wonderful, he explained what he was going to do and at every step of the procedure he again explained what he was doing now. He is a 5 star physician.

At age 65 I was waking up 4-5 times a night to urinate. Anytime I went out I would usually have make a bathroom stop or two. My urine stream was very light. After meeting Dr. Shoss he told me I did not have to live this way. He did look at my prostate and showed we video of it. We agreed on a TURP procedure. Following the procedure I had a short bout ( a week ) with ED which he immediately gave me an appointment to discuss. He assured me it was only temporary. My urgency to urinate was still there for a week or two which he predicted. Everything is back to when I was in my 30's. This was a positive life changing procedure for me and I had my doubts it would be.

Dr. Shoss is the most outstanding and talented M.D. / Surgeon in his field. With no exaggeration he was a life saver. If it weren't for his immediate action, superior surgical ability, and genuine care for patients - I would not be here to write this honest review. He has selfless delivered first rate medical treatment/care from day 1 and continues to. Dr. Shoss is the genuine article in both medical acumen as well as patient care. He relates to his patients and breaks down treatment plans step by step. During appointments he is "present" and focused on the patient needs. I absolutely recommend him and will be eternally grateful for all his care, medical expertise, and commitment to patients. His office/nursing staff are amazing to work with from the front desk, nurse Michelle, and Appt staff. They are warm, caring, and helpful. Thank you Dr. Shoss! 5 Stars and beyond!

Dr. Shoss is awesome, he did my surgery when I received my kidney in 2018. Explaned everything what was gonna happen in a way that made it easier to understand. He even went as far as talking with my dad in Spanish the best he could which was just awesome I thought. I am forever grateful for the care that I received from him.

Dr Shoss is a very conscientious caring expert..A great Doctor.Use him you wont regret it.. His nurse for the last 6 moths from this date is extremely rude and will eventually tear down the doctor she works for. GH

Impatient, egotistical, rough, rude.

Dr. Shoss performed a robotic partial nephrectomy on my left kidney for RCC in March 2018. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure, possible complications and recovery. He was very professional and has great bed side manner. I would recommend him to anyone for their Urology surgery.
