Great staff and very knowledgeable

Wonderful, friendly staff.

I had a very through exam with Dr. Mullen. He was knowledgeable, compassionate & explained things in such a fashion that was very understandable. He also went over my MRI and showed me areas of concern.

One of the things that's most important for me with any kind of healthcare visit is that the people in my room with me that are interacting with me have high quality masks on to prevent me from catching COVID. I already have neurological issues and catching COVID could increase those neurological issues or introduce new ones and so I'm trying really hard to avoid getting COVID. I was very, very happy that Dr. Mullen was super respectful in that regard and had no problem getting a KN95 mask to wear during appointment. So that made me really happy and made me feel safe and I really appreciate it. The nurse on the other hand was kind of like prying a tooth. I didn't feel like she was very receptive to my requests and I kind of had to talk to her about it and then her demeanor kind of went really cold when she went out and when she came back, she only had

Dr Mullen was very personable and listened to everything I had to to say. He took lots of notes and we had a nice conversation and discussed of my issues. Highly recommend.

UCI is always tops in your field. The personnel, the medical care, the humanism, the bedside manner, and the professionalism are just always spectacular. I feel really lucky to have anything to do with you guys. Thank you.

Great visit. Nurses were all so sweet and attentive. Dr. Mullen was fantastic. Really listened and wasn't in a rush. Spent time needed to help find answers. So happy to have found this office.

Somehow

Had appointment with crorect doctor originally that was cancelled by staff due to their error because they had me come in (I live near Burbank) for what they thought was an opening but turned out to be a meeting. Then he got sick and cancelled my Jan 4th appt. Then we made the trip again and got a room only for it to be canceled after we were checked in. We made the trip a third time only to get referred back to the doctor that's cost us out of pocket expenses and canceled with us multiple times. Past frustrated and unacceptable.

I liked him very much; very forthcoming. Not happy that he has to move to new Irvine facility as much less convenient location-wise. Current location was one of two reasons I chose to select him as new healthcare provider.

Dr. Mullen was professional, caring and an excellent listener. He recommended testing that had not been mentioned previously by the numerous doctors I've seen (outside UCI). That recommendation made sense per the his observations and explanation. I have confidence Dr. Mullen. I scheduled that testing that same afternoon, unfortunately the earliest appointment is more than 3 months out. Hopefully I can get a cancellation appointment to get in early. A 10 rating for Dr. Mullen!
