Avoid if You Have a Workers' Comp Case!
If you have a workers' comp case, do not see this podiatrist. He is not familiar with the process and refuses to communicate with patients after making mistakes in his reports. I experienced this firsthand when he incorrectly cleared me to return to work while my foot was still not fully healed. He also refuses to answer phone calls or address concerns after the fact. Very unprofessional and careless—stay away!

Find another podiatrist !
The most horrific experience of my life! I went to Dr, Lucido for a bunionectomy. What I received was a deformed foot that for years has caused me more pain than a bunion ever did.

Went for pain in foot and the one on one was maximum 5 minutes with no real concrete solution. No real full exam of the foot nor xray. Additionally, the receptionist is rude and unprofessional.

Foot treatment
I have been under Dr Lucidos care for many years regarding various foot problems and osteoarthritic conditions. His care, treatment and monitoring of my conditions have enabled me to remain functioning and have a quality of life. His medical competency in the 10 years of treatment and his compassion as a human being have helped me tremendously. Dr Tornatore

Dr. Lucido is simply TERRIBLE! I went to him for an ingrown toenail and he did the worst job. In fact, he put anesthesia on me, then left me waiting for over an hour. When he finally did the procedure, the anesthesia wore off immediately and I was in horrific pain before I arrived home. This is very unprofessional. He is also extremely RUDE, arrogant, condescending, and has the WORST bedside manners. I do NOT recommend this doctor at all. I do not know how he obtained an MD. He deserves ZERO stars. AVOID Dr. Lucido. Do yourself a favor, there is an excellent podiatrist who is just a few blocks away who's amazing. Dr. Lucido is HORRIBLE and I exhort you to stay AWAY from this incompetent physician.

I am writing to thank Dr Lucido after he surgically repaired a severed tendon in my big toe two years ago, achieving a degree of success that most patients can only hope for. I recently went to a podiatrist for an unrelated issue, and she was surprised that my toe was still working at 100% after having a tendon severed. Hence me wanting to leave a good review. I do remember the wait times being on the long side for my follow up visits, for what it's worth.

I can't believe he is still practicing. I went to him years ago...totally incompetent. He did nothing for me, but recommend a costly insert. The cast was taken in his office. The cost was about $300 out of pocket. It was shipped to his office and when it arrived, his office contacted me. He proceeded to "cut" the cathodic....incorrectly. The insert rubbed on the area of the "ball of the foot". It became useless. I was recommended to Dr. Liswood and he has been my guy since.

I presented with an ankle fracture and was sold a rocking boot with a two-inch heel. As a 'zoftig' little old lady with a documented fall risk, I knew immediately that this wasn't for me and said so.So I tried it for a few days and took it off , fearing a broken neck, or worse. The doctor was beside himself when he saw that I abandoned the boot. He angrily offered a cast, then dismissed me. He doesn't operate on bones! I would describe this doctor as arrogant, stubborn and one who obfuscates.

I took my son to Dr. Lucido for a fractured foot. The doctor and staff were all very nice and professional. We did have to wait a bit, but it was worth it. I am pleased with how my son was cared for and would recommend him.

The doctor charged me for a visit where he did not examine me. I returned a pair of insoles he customized for me as they were hurting my knees. He never examined my feet or tested the insoles. I then got a invoice for an office visit. When I disputed the visit, he stated he had examined me and manipulated my feet. This was fantasy. Never happened. While he seems to be a good podiatrist, this latest event has caused me not to trust him

Dr. Lucido curreted out damaged bone from my second toe without filling in the created space with autologous graft or cadaveric bone. I now walk with a "rubber" toe that flops around- both uncomfortable and unsafe. His surgery destabilized my foot completely. The REASON he did this was to prevent graft failure from possible osteomyelitis. As I was only 35, non-diabetic and my toe injury had not broken the skin, his actions reflect a complete lack of sound clinical judgement and understanding.

Dr. J Lucido never looks his patients in the eye. I thought it was just the day I met him, but other patients concurred. He never touched my foot; all was done by an assistant! He determined it was not a fungus, while I was in the office...and yet I got a $236 lab bill ! On the same visit, I also ordered orthotics and , after waiting 3 weeks , I called wondering, was told to keep calling back ! No apology & no indication a as to when the orthotics would arrive.
