Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, DO

Dr. Johnson requires yearly physicals. Towards the end of last year I lost my insurance, which caused me to have to miss my next scheduled physical. (I am only three months past due.) When I called a few days ago to make a payment, I scheduled an appointment at that time, as I now have insurance again. I went into the office today to pick up medicine and was told I was no longer an active patient and my appointment, ALREADY scheduled, had been erased. They were sure happy enough to take my money when I called, but didn't bother telling me then that I had been booted from their patient list. This is just the latest problem I've had with the office staff in the decade I've been a patient there. He's a good doctor, but his staff is the worst I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I've always overlooked the mistakes because he is thorough. Doubtless they'll respond saying I'm lying, but you can hook me up to a lie-detector machine. What I've written is 100% accurate.

My health goal is to maintain a robust energy level. At 75, I am happy to say that with Dr. Johnson's careful readings and explanations of my lab numbers and annual exam, I do. I very much appreciate being a concierge patient of Dr. Johnson and recommend him highly!

Dr Johnson has been my doctor for 15 years or more. He is a very thorough diagnostician and is very effective in treatment and follow up!! He is very approachable and so good to listen. He is highly tenacious when seeking the true cause of a problem. I consider myself blessed to be in his care!!! His staff is also outstanding!! All of them are kind, caring, and highly capable in their positions!!! It feels more like I’m visiting my family when I’m there!!

Office visits are OK. Problem is that us old folks are often referred to a specialist. Then we come under the scheduling waiting and whims of the specialist. Had a physical in January. Referred to a specialist for hernia . Had the operation on May 1, . Three months waiting.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for many years. He is a very detailed dr and explains everything in terms I can understand. He is a good listener and always answers all my questions. I highly recommend him.

Dr Johnson takes all the time neccesary to listen to you. He acts and prescribes accordingly. To be direct, it is like having a doctor as part of your family, I recommend him.

Last visit was for annual exam. Went smoothly, professional treatment and cordial atmosphere. Very thorough.

I have been using Dr Johnson when he took over Dr Hansberry’s practice. I have always been very pleased with him and his practice. Anytime I have had a problem, I’ve explained my symptoms, he will either run the necessary test to find the answer or give me the medicine to take care of the problem. More than once, Dr Johnson has conferred with another doctor, or one time with two other doctors to do the best thing for me. That is very impressive! His staff has always treated me as if I were the only patient. That is a good feeling. I would give his practice my highest recommendation.

Dr. johnson is very thorough. He diagnosed my CLL several years ago. He follows up on all my health issues. I have gone to him for 20 years. I can get in to see him on short notice. His goal is to keep me out of the hospital as I age. I would recommend him to any of my friends.
