Dr. Jeffrey Jacobson
Very knowledgeable, obviously experienced in his field, careful to explain the situation as he sees it, offering alternative methods available and the potential pluses and minuses. His operation on my hand was handled in extremely efficient manner at nearby Phelps Hospital by a very helpful and caring group with a successful result .This is a very humane medical expert and I recommend highly that you consider him when your hand is injured.

Highly recommend, and I couldn’t be his patient!
I called to make an appointment for carpal tunnel issues, after spending two days researching Ortho hand surgeons. Only to find out he no longer takes fidelis, despite website info. ( ie Healthgrades, etc.). The receptionist said he would confirm with Dr. Jacobsen and call me back. At the days end, Dr. Jacobsen called me himself! Impressive? Most definitely. The brief conversation we had, revolved around other possible surgeons I might be covered with. If time allowed, I would be inclined to change insurance companies to one he DOES participate in. In a heartbeat!

Dr. Jacobson is the absolute BEST!! My husband and I didn't technically 'see' him, I simply called his office to try to make an appointment. My husband is a musician and had a laceration to his palm. Dr. Jacobson validated us in knowing how important this was. He was so thoughtful and patient and wasn't trying to rush me off of the phone. If our insurance covered his services or if we were not in a pandemic in which it would be a bit easier to afford an out of network visit, then we would go to him! Go see this doctor!! I researched him and he is very talented as well as being so nice! That's a combination that is hard to find! He was understanding and caring and is certainly not 'in it for the money'. When I told him that we couldn't see him because he was out of network, he was totally understanding and answered a question we had about my husband's hand.

My husband had an accidental gunshot wound to his hand during the pandemic and while we where having difficulty getting in to see a Doctor, Dr. Jacobson took him on as a patient and saw him immediately. Dr. Jacobson took the time to explain everything to us he was incredible. I can not say enough great things about this man, he is exceptional and assured us we were in the right place he was confident which made us know we were in the right hands. When he got through evaluating my husband and thoroughly explaining everything to us he then said to us ok what question can I answer for you, ask away. Dr. Jacobson truly cares about his patients - I have not seen that kind of compassion from a Dr. in many years, there still are Doctors out there for the patients and not the paycheck and he is one of them.

Dr Jacobson is truly a fantastic doctor and I can not say enough great things about him. He was always thorough with examination and treatment. Also, he is extremely knowledgeable and informative - always taking the time to walk me through the details so I felt comfortable and understood what was happening and the next steps. He has always started with the approach to avoid surgery unless it is absolutely needed. Had I needed surgery, I know I would be in great hands. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would go back to him if I ever needed to.

I've had arthritis for many years and had thumb surgery with another hand surgeon in White Plains a few years ago. Dr. Jacobson operated on a friend of mine and she loved him so I went to see him and am so happy that I did. Dr. Jacobson really cares about his patients and was so nice. He obviously loves what he does and it shows. When I had my surgery, it really was much better. I am now pain free and so grateful. Thank you Dr. Jacobson!!!

I had a terrible bite from my dog in September, 2016. I ended up going to the ER and then to Dr Jacobson. My finger was extremely infected. Dr. Jacobson put me immediately into the hospital and saved the use of my thumb. He did neurosurgery after the initial wound healed. I now have the use of my thumb. Dr. Jacobson called my husband to make sure I was ok which I appreciated. The staff was excellent and I highly recommend him to anyone who has a problem with their hand. Love this Dr!!!!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Jacobson! He is excellent. I saw him for a severe pain in my wrist and now I am pain free!!! He solved my problem. He is very friendly and his staff is as well! One day when when he was running a bit late, a staff member offered me something to snack on! Again I would 100 percent trust and use him!

My 16 y.o. son cut the pad off of his finger in an accident. The severe laceration, required a hand surgeon's opinion at the ER. The surgeon wanted to operate, but consulted with Dr Jacobson first. Dr Jacobson said NOT to operate and to come see him the following day. After seeing his finger, he determined the finger would heal better, with less long term effects, without surgery. He followed my son's progress very carefully, and the finger healed beautifully. Dr Jacobson is truly gifted.

Dr Jacobson is fabulous! He has a great bedside manner and is more than excellent at his job. He saw us in the hospital and made sure we got surgery scheduled as soon as possible. He fixed a very delicate issue and also found and fixed an issue that wasn't readily apparent. Would absolutely recommend him!
