Dr. Jeffrey Halsell, DO

I visited Dr. Halsell today. This is the first doctor I've visited in my 4 year quest to find out what's wrong with my hip that named the nerve, and the actual name of the problem I've been suffering from. He was professional, throughout the appointment, and listened to everything I said, and let me ask questions without me feeling like I was rushed. For 4 and half years I've been trying to get help from 7 different providers in different cities, and he's the first one to actually start treating me for what I have always thought the issue was. Most doctors I have seen don't even know about the nerve that's causing this horrible issue. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews here, but I think this guy is the guy to go to for nerve issues. Thanks you Dr. Halsell, I look forward to following up with you. *** My Dad just told me that dr. H. Threatened to fire both my parents as patients if I say anything more about him!!! What kind of "Dr." does that? **UPDATE** I finally got to ask the Dr. why he wouldn't see me & he said he didn't like the meds I was on 4+ years ago. I told him I wasn't taking any of them any more. He said he reviewed it again & still wouldn't see me. He claimed he was too busy, (but he's still taking other patients). He then said he was calling security to have me removed even though I was there as my dad's driver. I've heard from many people that he is an a**hole at best and this confirms it. Dr Halsell has been seeing my parents for years. I was turned down as a patient twice with no explanation. I asked repeatedly for an explanation & was told it was the drs decision and they wouldn't question him. I've never met him or even been to his office, yet they claim to have a file on me & I have a referral from my GP of 20 years.

Dr. Jeffrey S. Halsell DO, is a disgrace to the Medical Community. This Doctor has No basic Knowledge of Medicine in general to be classified more than a Narcotics pill prescription slip signer per Federal/Oklahoma law. Remember the diet pill doctors of years past.? Doctors of this nature fill out Prescriptions without checking your physical condition, other than checking for drugs they prescribe through a urine test. If you give this Doctor a problem by asking questions, he will terminate his service to you. The dollar is the important issue Here, not the patient! This Doctor breaks many barriers toward the law of being a Doctor. Sooner or later he will be found out, to billing Medicare, Insurance Companies etc. Prescriptions issued has possibly problems also. Yes, I ask questions & was related a problem patient & he dropped me from his service. If you want a Doctor who doesn't check your basic medical condition, Blood pressure/pulse etc. just sign a form, pee & you Get Prescription.

I have been a patient of Dr Halsells for almost 5 years. I see him every month religiously. I have taken and passed a urine screen every single month during my time as his patient. On the 4/718 I had my regular monthly visit and urine screen. On 4/18/18 I recieved a phone call from a nurse saying my urine did not contain my pain medication and they asked why. I was completely baffled and told them that it might be a error at the lab or something because its never happened before in 5 years or it

If I could give 0 stars I would. This man was never even around to see his patients. He is one of those doctors who thinks everyone is a pill seeker and doesn't listen to his patients whatsoever. My fiancé was the patient and has now found a doctor who listens to him and has helped him tremendously. Halsell is a JOKE.

DR HALSELL HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL FOR ME. I AM 72 AND TAKE CARE OF MY 97 YEAR OLD MOTHER SO I HAVE LOSTS OF PROBLEMS AND HE TRIES TO HELP ME WHEN HE CAN. THANKS VERY MUCH. I WILL RECEOMMEND DR HALSELL TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS HIS SERVICES.

I have been going to Dr. Halsell for quite some time now. He always greets me with a smile and a handshake when he first comes in the room, and greets my husband in the same way. He is very professional and listens to you and helps with a plan to manage your pain.

I do not recommend Dr. Halsell to any one with any kind of pain problem. He did not listen to me about questions or concerns I might have had, as he spent most of the time out of the exam room only to send his nurse back. He became upset with me when I told her I still questions. It was obvious he just wanted me gone.

Didn't listen to me at all, horrible bedside manner! Would never recommend him to anyone!

I would recommend Dr, Halsell, because shows genuine concern for his patients. He always suggest alternative therapy and not just pain meds.
