The Worst Office Staff
I’ve never been treated so poorly by a group of medical professionals. I arrived 15 minutes early for my 8 am appointment, only to find the office locked with no seating available, forcing multiple customers to stand in the hall. Several employees walked by without acknowledging us, despite seeing us waiting, and the door wasn’t opened until exactly 8 am. When we were finally let in, I expressed my frustration to the receptionist, who rudely dismissed my concerns. The medical assistant was equally dismissive when I mentioned the poor treatment, saying the receptionist was just having a bad day. The doctor barely examined me, quickly prescribing medications without a thorough consultation. The office manager was the worst of all—she lectured me about not knowing what the receptionist was going through and showed no interest in addressing my concerns, even telling me I was welcome to leave if I didn’t like the staff. I will never return to this practice.

Zero communication
Please do NOT go to Dr. Groves. The initial appointment was ok but short. But after calling half a dozen times to get test results, alter meds, ask questions, we NEVER received a return call. Even tried to call to get a referral sent to another neurologist without action.

Dr Groves is very intellectual & very Smart with my healthcare in every way possible. I’ve been seeing him for many years now, & he covers everything from a-z of the tests I need to determine what is wrong with my health. I totally understand why now he’s been very good to find out the reason why I’ve been in the most difficult journey of my life. He tests me for every possible reason ever. I once wondered why so many tests that he orders or preforms ? I now understand why he is very thorough about my health conditions. I totally respect him for being proactive about my medical issues. I would love to recommend him for the patients that need such a diagnosis like me. Great job Dr you’re doing great work on me.

This was the worst Dr's. Office we've ever dealt with. Did not explain the condition just ordered a test. Any time we called about anything we got the runaround. After complications from the test I tried all day to get them to talk to me. Just some incomplete responses in the portal. They also said he would call with the results of the test which he didn't. After trying to get them to answer me all day I found out they scheduled the procedure to fix the complication for my wife. They never told us they did this. We missed the appointment and she had to suffer all night trying to decide whether to go to the ER. On top of all this, they have never once expressed concern that my wife was in pain during a dozen interactions.

Thorough and concise
After getting the runaround by charismatic yet clueless doctors, I finally got answers. I was diagnosed with two conditions after my appointment with Dr groves; fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel in my right hand. I tried getting treated closer to Provo after my car broke down, only to be gaslit by local doctors.Travel to draper on public transit is a small price to pay for a doctor who doesn't throw his hands in the air after 15 minutes with me.I find specialists tend to be less about small talk, (especially anesthesiologists) but are direct and to the point. If you don't take the non verbal communication personally, Dr groves is a great doctor!

Would NOT recommend.
We waited over 6 months to get in to see him. He spent 45 seconds in total with my son, gave us one word responses, charged us $640 dollars for this visit and wanted us to return again to do an examination. We thought that’s what we waited 6 months to get in to do. Waste of time and money!!! Will NOT be going back!!!

Don't go if you don't have to.
Saw Dr. Groves three times for neuropathy. At a total cost of 2,900.00. Two out of the three appointments made for me on a card were written wrong. He was a very dry doctor and I found some of his staff to be almost rude. After two weeks with no info on my tests, I finally called and spoke with his assistant. Just to stand on a balance scale was a ridiculous 274.00. His charges were exorbitant, to say the least. Look for someone else. Would not reccomend...

I would never reccomend Dr. Groves to anyone. I got no answers, When I arrived to my appointment I was not on the schedule which had been made over a month prior to my appt. which was confirmed by front desk. The Docter had the personality of a wet mop, This was a complete waste of money. I felt they could careless about their mistakes. I am a nurse and was disg usted with the entire staff.

Still waiting for answers
I don't think Dr Groves likes talking to patients. At office visits there's no small talk and he seems uncomfortable answering medical questions. Neither he or anyone else in the office ever followed up with me about the results of several MRI's he had ordered. When I called in to ask about what the results meant, I was told by staff that Dr Groves wanted me to get a lumbar puncture. I had an emergency a few days after the lumbar puncture and couldn't get through to him so I went to the ER. I still have questions and feel totally ignored. I called the day after going to ER and told the scheduler I would be happy with a tele visit or phone call, I just had some questions. I tried to make a follow up appointment and the earliest time I could get was 2 1/2 months away. Dr Groves prescribed a medication that was on my allergy list and through his assistant I was told to speak to the pharmacist if I had questions.

Great first experience
I was impressed with his staff, his assistant, and Dr. Groves. All of them were kind and I felt like Dr. Groves really listened. I am in the beginning stages of trying to figure out what is happening and I felt like he took everything I said seriously. He asked me clarifying questions and did a great job explaining what he would like to do moving forward. He asked if my husband and I were comfortable with everything he suggested. He let us ask all the questions we had plus more that came up while talking with him. He answered them in ways that made sense and by the end we felt very comfortable with the plan. He was quiet/soft spoken and the visit with him was quick but I felt like he was thorough and I didn’t feel like a number or an inconvenience.

I was very impressed with the front office. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Groves came in a explained what he would be doing. He has sent me to a lab for blood work. I feel he was very thorough. He has performed more tests than other Doctors checking for Neuropathy. I was very happy with my vist.
