Dr. Jeffrey Ferraro, MD

Saw him at Capital Regional. He was one of the bright spots of my stay. Great attitude, showed genuine concern for me as a patient. Only wish he saw patients in his practice.

Called for appointment. Nurse took information. Called back & said doctor couldn’t help me & it was only depression. Seems he would have learned this in Psychology 101. If not, he shouldn’t be practicing. Would NOT Recommend!!!!!!!!!

You are supposed to trust your Psychiatrist, I do not trust him.

Ferraro is a real jerk with pinpoint pupils and a mean disposition. Cruelty.

Do not waste your time with these doctors. It's their way or the highway. Dr. Ferraro will patient profile you and its all about the money. I paid them $400.00 for him to try and test out an antihistamine for my anxiety and postpartum depression. Let's just say I declined the treatment and found a doctor that would actually listen to my concerns and perscribe the proper medication.

Never not even worth one star. I give them credit for a clean office and that is it. I was lied too and made to feel like I was a waist of human flesh. Went there to stop suicidal tendencies and now they are worse then they have ever been. TRUST is a key factor in Dr. Patients relationship. And they ruined it, smashed it, and set it on fire. Do not go to these greedy people.

I had a difficult case of depression. Dr Ferraro listened and developed a thorough plan to help me. Caring and thoughtful in his approach. Would recommend to anyone

I have been treated for OCD and PTSD for years and my meds were never right. I was always way over medicated and not happy. Then I seen Dr. Ferraro and my life changed for the better. He truly listened to me and got me on the right meds. Thank goodness for great doctors like Dr. Ferraro!!!

Tmh Access Center referred me to dr. Ferraro as being the last available psychiatrist in Tallahassee Florida to see me. Knowing this he neglected my mental health care and refuse to see me without even knowing me or my situation at all. My current psychiatrist who has been practicing for over 50 years is now retiring due to these hypocritical behaviour in upside down shifts in the mental health system. Unfortunately dr. Ferraro has fallen into the love of money instead of the care of his patient

My experience with Dr. Ferarro has always been good. He's patient and understanding and doesn't make you feel as though you are being judged for your visit by someone who is seemingly more stable, if you will. My only complaint would be that the sessions are very quick as he is not a Psychologist and as a Psychiatrist he only sits for a few minutes and has you describe exactly what is going on, medications to take, and offers up other ways that may help. I would certainly recommend.

Sessions with him felt pretty impersonal, and maybe that's just his style but when he didn't listen to my objections about the medications I was taking it got frustrating. It doesn't feel like I made any real progress at all with my conditions while seeing him.

Here's how this works: you call his office and ask for an appt. The secretary asks you a bunch of personal questions and confirms your insurance, then she talks to the dr and finds out if he accepts you, and calls you back. He didn't accept me, for reasons unknown. Age? Gender? Previous treatment? This is called cherry picking his clients, and how he ends up with such glowing recommendations. I would not recommend.
