Dr Dodd and the entire staff were incredibly accommodating under tough conditions. I don't think I could have received better care anywhere.

I broke my ankle in a fall while on vacation and was taken to Tahoe Forest Hospital Emergency. I was admitted to the hospital and consulted with Dr. Dodd. He reviewed my surgical option and repaired my bimalleolar ankle fracture with a plate and screws the following day. My whole experience from emergency to hospital to surgery then rehab was excellent. I was treated with kindness, compassion and professionalism. Dr. Dodd, his surgical team, the hospital stall, PT and OT staff and ECC staff made what was a scary experience a very positive one. I returned home with confidence that I could handle all the adaptive measures I needed to heal my ankle. Thank you Dr. Dodd and Tahoe Forest staff. I highly recommend them for orthopedic and rehab needs!

Dr Dodd and his staff have been so helpful throughout all of my problems. He fixed my knee (ACL and meniscus)when another surgeon said I needed a knee replacement. Fixed my shoulder (rotator cuff tear and bicep tendon). A different orthopedist didn’t think it was that bad. So they sent me off to PT just to make things worse. Dr Dodd was very clear with evaluations. Explained things very well and gave me time to ask questions and address any concerns. He explained my options and was very supportive throughout the hole process. He and his staff have gone the extra mile to help me with insurance problems, referrals to other specialists, or any problems I have come across.

Dr. Dodd correctly assessed the cause, or aggravation, of my condition within five minutes as a bone spur on my right heel. Immediate x-rays confirmed this assessment. He will perform a procedure at a later date, allowing me to complete necessary tasks before the onset of winter. He has treated me successfully in the past for similar conditions (bone spur and persistent tendinitis) and I have total confidence that he will do so again. I find Dr. Dodd knowledgeable, efficient, and competent.

I feel so fortunate to receive follow up care from Dr Dodd and his ultra competent, sweet nurse Chris after a bicycle accident and shoulder surgery while in Hungary.

My son was born and raised here in Truckee. He broke his leg and we were lucky that Dr. Dodd was on call for emergency surgery. He had an easy recovery and Dr. Dodd’s work is superb. Always recommend him!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Dodd and his whole team; I had any rush or pressure to do anything; I did not want to. They understood my Pain and what kind of outcome I could expect. I had other post-surgery issues that were not directly related to the operation. His team was always right there and followed through. My 2nd Hip op six months later went very smoothly, even better, as everyone understood my issues from before. This review was written some ten days after the 2nd surgery, and yes have post-op pain, nothing over-the-counter meds can't deal with, and I am healing very well. I will continue to use Dr.Dodd's team during the next few months. I would therefore recommend if you are in need of Surgery, Please Talk with them. My experience has been perfect, and give i went back to the same team for my 2nd op tell you something.

Shoulder rotator cuff repair and two knee replacements by Dr. Jeffrey Dodd, and his dedicated team (both in the office and during surgery). Despite complications of my own making, they pulled me through to very successful outcomes.

I just had ACL reconstruction and my meniscus stitched by Dr Dodd. This is my 3rd ACL and my 5th knee surgery. I used a different surgeon and surgery center for the previous surgeries. I have been so thoroughly impressed with Dr Dodd and his entire staff. Their level of attention to detail combined with their friendliness and general interest in making sure all patients are well taken care of far exceeded my expectations and my past experience with other surgeons and offices. Dr Dodd by nature is pretty brief and to the point, but he’s very good at what he does, and his staff is very thorough and provide a welcoming and nurturing experience.

Excellent Surgeon. I am 5 weeks out from bi-lateral hip replacement surgery and at the top of the "healing curve'. Dr. Dodd and his staff have done an incredible job.

I am an 80 year old man who recently had total knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Dodd. I am completely and happily satisfied with the results. Dr. Dodd is a highly competent, no nonsense professional who does not talk down to you. If I ever again have need for an orthopedic surgeon, I will go back to Dr. Dodd.

Dr. Dodd did an excellent job treating my broken femur due to a skiing accident.

After breaking my hip in a ski accident, Dr. Dodd did the replacement and I am back skiing and have no pain what so ever. Very happy with the anterior hip replacement, time to heal and overall outcome.

Totally indifferent, non-caring and arrogant. Horrible bedside manner. Also, poor surgical judgement and technique.

Dr. Dodd is an excellent surgeon on both a professional and personal basis. After an emergency hip replacement I didn't hesitate 5 years later when dual congenital defects required an elective replacement. I had another excellent outcone. He's the best!
