Dr. Carter is awesome!
Dr. Carter is awesome! I was told I needed a knee replacement by another doctor. Dr. Carter suggested we start with my torn meniscus and go from there. I was scheduled and am now post op and my knee felt better the day after surgery. A great doctor and surgeon. Also, the office staff is efficient and very friendly, which is important.

Awful experience
Terrible doctor! Do not go here! First visit and Dr Carter didn’t even touch or examine my knee. As a medical professional you should always do a physical assessment and he spent 2 minutes with me. He said my MRI was normal when my MRI said I had a fissure in my cartilage, effusion under my patella with a patellar tilt, edema in my knee, a ruptured bakers cyst, and a sprained mcl. But most importantly you should always ask the patient what their symptoms are and he didn’t. Terrible and will never go back

Dr. Carter is a kind, compassionate and skilled surgeon. I could not be happier with how he treated me in his office and at the surgery. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

I have been going to Dr Carter for over 20 years and he has preformed several surgeries to repair or replace joints that I seem to have done my best to destroy. He and his staff are amazing. I am always treated with respect, he always tells me my options and explains the pros and cons. The surgeries have been 100% successful, I am pain free, I take no medication and I am able to remain active, I enjoy hiking, dancing and horseback riding regularly. He's given me my life back.

I was a patient of another Orthopedic practice in the area but after many attempts in trying to schedule an appt and failing. I did my research on physician in the area and loved Dr. Carter's reviews, I called and to my surprise a LIVE person answered and so professionally. I was able to get an appt and the staff and Dr. Carter was pleasant and informative. I recommend this office looking for an Orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Carter is AMAZING - He performed my rotator cuff surgery on Sept 2017 and i was released March 2018. I can't even remember the pain and limited use - because now I am PAIN FREE and have full range of motion. I highly recommend Dr. Carter and his team!

Since I needed surgery I haven't been disappointed in Dr Carter and his staff. I walked into the reception to meet friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. I am unfamiliar with my procedure and how to utilize my insurance, so I ask questions. And then I ask them again, and then again in a different way because I want sure if I was asking it right. They guided me patiently through it all. My questions and concerns answered and ultimately the surgery successful and I felt well taken care of.

I had knee replacement surgery done in September with Dr.Carter .Before my surgery he told me that it would take up to a year for a full recovery.I am at 7 months and I feel great I feel like I am almost back to 100 percent.I attribute this to the success of the surgery and my rehab at Terrapin Physical Therapy which is where Dr.Carter sent to do my water therapy.I believe that my success in recovering so quickly started with Dr. Carter I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.

He is caring and logical. He doesn't jump to surgery and tries alternate approaches if they will help.
