Primary patient for over 7 years
Dr Carley and staff have been very thorough in their physical checkups and took additional time in explaining the condition I have. They were prompt in dispersing information to other facilities and very clear in how to proceed with further care.

Miss my Doctor!!
Dr. Carley has been my Doctor since he open his office. The treatment I received was excellent. From his office staff, nurses and his referrals when I needed back surgery or his continuing care. Unfortunately, I moved out of state two years ago. I have not found a doctor here that has the care I need or the professional services that Dr. Carley had. Dr. Carley does not keep staff that will compromise his practice. My trip to NC will include an office visit to his office. I have been surprised by the amount of time I have spent trying to find a Doctor. Two years, still looking.

Be careful
Dr. Carly was my mom’s doctor. She had been complaining about back pain since my dad passed away 4 yrs ago. After moving with me and my family she hurt her back which lead to us locating a doctor on the fly here in Texas. We have been so blessed to find an amazing place with amazing people. She was told by Dr. Carly and the radiologist in Shelby that she had pulled a muscle and had arthritis in her back. Well let me tell you! This is so far from the truth!!! What she does have is severe osteoporosis and extremely brittle bones. Not once was she placed on any regimen to slow done the osteoporosis . She had back surgery yesterday (Vertebroplasty) for 2 fractures L2 and 3. X-ray and CT Scan showed clear as day that she had actually fractured L1, 4 and 5 previously and were old heals!!! (Pretty much she has fractured all 5 lumbars!!!!)I have never met Dr. Carly, but I feel if he would’ve taken as much time as the new doctor she would be in better health

Don't do it
KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS! Especially if you are a self pay customer. Apparently, there is no communication between the front desk and billing desk, which is quite literally the same desk. I continue to receive bills in the mail from this place, despite providing receipts, and bank statements. Same story over and over every time I call, system down in November so we are playing catch up. Almost four months to play catch-up, seems excessive. If the billing is this scattered for such a small practice, imagine how your health and medical records are juggled around. My personal experience, do not go here, seek a practice that is able to handle themselves, because it's very apparent that is something this office is incapable of doing.

Love Dr. Carley! I wouldn't see anyone else, and even after moving from the area, I plan to return just to keep him as my primary care physician.

Dr Carley got very angry with me because I asked to be referred to a specialist. He told me I just didn't want to hear the truth, he left the room and came back slamming my file on the table and said Ok after you see this specialist you and your friends can just sit around and decide what you want to do next. He said that because I had explained that my friend and oncologist had strongly suggested that I see one I began to cry and could not stop. I had trusted him and was so hurt

I am extremely reluctant in recommending Dr. Carley to anyone yet alone yet alone deciding if we should let him be our doctor. Dr. Carley isn't the problem, it's his entire staff down to the office manager, business manager, insurance/referral person and every one at front window except the nice man. I don't know if Dr Carley know or cares, but he has the rudest staff I've ever delt with! I've been trying to get my parent to switch doctors because of the verbal abuse and rudeness she endures
