Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu, MD

I was referred to Dr Cadeddu by my primary care doctor. Dr Cadeddu was very thorough and did an excellent job of explaining my prostate cancer diagnosis. I really like that he gave me the details and options with the risks involved in each. He did my robotic prostatectomy and I am very pleased with the results. He is a very good surgeon and a really good guy. I highly recommend him and the UTSW team.

I found Dr. Cadeddu after being diagnosed with prostate cancer by another physician. After multiple appointments with my prior doctor, where I came away confused, I was recommended to go to Dr. Cadeddu for a second opinion. After my initial visit, I had my questions answered and felt very comfortable switching physicians and having Dr. Cadeddu do the surgery. It was the best decision I ever made. Three months post-surgery, I am prostate cancer-free and have regained the functionality I had before surgery. I highly recommend you schedule an appointment with him and make your own decision.

He is excellent

My husband was referred to Dr. Cadeddu for a urology issue. We waited over a month for an appointment. The UT Southwestern Urology Clinic personal were on time and professional. The Resident we met with first was particularly good. Then Dr. Cadeddu came in and the visit went south. In short, Dr. Cadeddu is the most arrogant and non-patient friendly physician I have met. He refused to introduce himself to me. My husband and I aligned on a set of questions to ask the doctor. As the advocate for my husband, I asked the doctor why he used one method to perform a test rather than another. The Doctor became nasty and told me he would not justify his choices. I was looking to understand why he preferred one procedure over another. Dr. Cadeddu treated our visit more as a lecture rather than a collaborative exchange between a doctor and a patient and tried to intimate us, so we didn’t ask questions. Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu is not the doctor for an empowered patient that wants to ask questions.

I'm glad that a lot of people had a great experience with this doctor, I wish I did too. The day of my appointment with doctor Cadeddu, was one of the darkest days of my life, one of the saddest days of my life. I deeply regret meeting with him. It was hurtful, and I haven't had the surgery I need because he scared me with the negative comments he made during the appt. Maybe he was having a bad day, who knows?

Dr. Cadeddu is an amazing Dr. & Surgeon. I was referred to him as being " The best of the best" from my Primary Care Physician. When other Urologists wouldn't touch my tumor-Dr.Cadeddu gave me hope. I went in Diagnosed with stage 3 Renal Cell Carcinoma and Dr. Cadeddu performed surgery on me 2 weeks ago and today I am CancerFree. This wonderful man saved my life! If you want the best there is-this is your man. Ps he has a great bedside manner as well. I can't say enough great things about him!

Dr. Cadeddu is the BEST kidney doctor you will find! Dr. Cadeddu knows what he is doing! I am so grateful and blessed that I was referred to him. I had a mass in my left kidney. Dr. Cadeddu removed the mass which was determined that it was cancer! Dr. Cadeddu was able to remove all the cancer! I only lost 10% of my kidney! Dr. Cadeddu does not believe in taking someone's kidney unless he has no other choice! I can go on all day about how impressed I was with Dr. Cadeddu!

Successful robotic partial nephrectomy. Only a two day hospital stay. No pain medication was required after the operation.

Dr. Cadeddu is one of the best surgeons I have ever meet and when it comes to kidney cancer he definitely is the man to go to. He performed a partial kidney removal on my husband due to renal cell carcinoma and did an excellent job!!!

Was diagnosed with cancer of the prostrate which had to be removed. After reviewing several doctors and procedures, I chose Dr. Cadeddu who also was recommended to me personally by 3 of this other patients. After a consultation with him and his explaining of his technique to avoid needing the standard catheter placement in the penis during recovery, I was completely sold. My recovery was much easier than I'd heard from other people with other doctors.
