Dr. Jeffrey Brasky, DO

He waited for months to do a colonoscopy on my Crohn's flare-up. Each subsequent flare-up he delayed it again because he was "waiting for things to calm down." When I went to another GI, he immediately scheduled a colonoscopy and said I needed surgery stat, and was baffled my previous GI didn't bother. He was always cold and curt and in my years in the medical system since then I've never spoken to a doctor who made me feel as dumb asking basic questions. When I asked on the phone if I should go to the ER for my pain, he responded "well, what else do you wanna do?" in the most condescending tone possible, and I've had 3 or 4 other questions answered like that. His only suggestion for my Crohn's was starting an IV drug which gave me incredible joint pain and gave me serum sickness. When I told him about the terrible pain both from the illness and drug, his immediate response was "I'm not giving you Norco," like he assumes anyone who claims genuine pain is just cruising for narcotics.

Very Professional and approachable. Takes time in the consultation visit that I didn’t feel rushed. I felt very comfortable scheduling my tests. Good follow up with results and answers all my questions.

Dr Brasky has great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. He discussed all my options with me and answered all the questions that I had.
