Carol- NY Dr Baumel was very caring considerate and couldn't have made me feel anymore comfortable prior to my operation. The nurse and the nurses helper both told me separately that your lucky you have Dr Baumel, that's who we all choose if we need anything done! I can't speak for the last person who wrote that review, but from my experience and others I spoke his review is way off base.

He was unable to find a vein, said I had little veins and he would put me under with the port the ER had put in. Was rude and volunteered no more info than I could think to ask for. After surgery someone said that he had had a hard time intibating me. He didn't say anything and didn't check on me in recovery. My throat is still sore three days later. I'm a healthy, average weighted middle age male with no anomalies. And this guy was rude to the surgeon and the nurses in the OR before.
