Dr. Backes is a fantastic surgeon. He repaired both my right and left rotator cuff tears. My first surgery was a profound success and a full recovery of mobility and strength. I am currently 3 weeks post-op on my left shoulder and have full confidence in a similar outcome. I highly recommend him.

I broke my humerus bone right before Christmas. It healed in eight weeks but it was off-center. I went through physical therapy for a month and a half and decided that a total shoulder would be the best course of action to get full range of motion. Dr. Baccus was very understanding and explained the procedure. I am more than happy with my results.

I was developing a shoulder issue and before it got out of hand I wanted it checked. X-rays were taken and he came in prepared with a cortisone injection. He showed us the X-ray and explained the problem. He is super nice and friendly and I did not feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Backus .

Dr. Backes was amazing. I went to see him for a painful shoulder. X-rays were taken and Dr. Backes explained everything he saw and gave me the least painful shot I have ever had in my life. So happy to have a Dr. that listens and cares. I highly recommend!!!!

Arrived early to fill out paper work, didn't need to. A few minutes after I checked in I was on my way to an exam room. Dr. Backes came in shortly after, listened to my complaints, sent me for x-rays & came back in to show me the broken bone in my shoulder. Another surgeon somehow missed that & told me I was going to have to live with the pain, weakness & lack of motion. Dr. Backes was a second opinion I sought I should have gone to him first. I can't attest to his surgical skills but I have to assume they're as good as his diagnostic & people skills. I would recommend Dr. Backes to anyone.

Dr Backes and his staff are amazing! I was very impressed that I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. Dr Backes is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Backes was fantastic. He explained my options and then let me decide. I decided to have reverse shoulder which he explained in detail. Everything was just as he told me. I will in time have him do the other shoulder.
