My experience with Dr. Masciopinto has been excellent. His advice regarding my herniated disc was conservative and evidence-based. I feel confident that the microdiscectomy/arthrotomy was the best route and that it has significantly reduced my pain. His patient care staff are personable and thoroughly explained every step of the treatment and recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Masciopinto's as a surgeon.

Performed a cervical arthroplasty on me. 6 months after I was having problems and all he wanted to do was give me a shot. I was in so much pain and he refused to help me because then the artificial replacement he picked out would have to be a failure. I went to UW for a second opinion and had it removed and fused. I had grown bone over it and the bone broke up and he was just going to leave it. Not happy with his follow up care.

I was thinking about my back issues, it made me think of Doctor Masciopinto, thought I would look him up and thank him. Doctor Masciopinto did my back Surgery when he was in Colorado, it has been 15-16 years now and my back is still amazing. He did an L5 - S1 Fusion. Before the surgery I could barely function, walking for more than a few minutes was a torturous experience. He was very informative, set me at ease. Thank you, Jerry Kennedy - Littleton Co. **Life Changing **

So little time and care for his patient once he's done with surgery. He pops in at the end of an appointment and spends maybe 5 minutes with you. Otherwise you see his staff. If you have questions about things after surgery, he doesn't really care to address them. Especially if there's complications, like mine. You get brushed off. Wish I would've read other people's opinions about this before choosing him.
