Dr. Jeffery Gardner, MD

Took my mom to st Rose hospital and Gardner was on duty . She is 96 years old had severe back pain and he ran a cat scan saw Kidney stones in her bladder and knowing she lives alone Sent her Home with NO medication and rudely said to me Many people have back problems! He said to me what do you want me to do ? I said your job! He’s horrible

ER visit for an injury. Also had a deep cut inflicted on my pinky less than 24 hrs prior in a separate incident. While treating my first mentioned injury, (was transferred to separate hospital after being cleared), showed my deep cut to Gardner. Dr. had a 20sec look saying there was no cut tendon. He asked me to bend it. I was unable. Slightly raising his voice, 'Why not??'. He was adamant of no cut tendon. When hearing him with a nurse, 'She's acting like..I mean she said she can't move it.' Professional incompetence showed he was lacking set standards of a doctor. His speech insinuated me as a liar. Immediately after mental hospital, I visited a hand surgeon, who had wished I had surgery immediately (in chance of a fully restored finger). He showed the ultrasound of my clearly cut tendon. Dr.'s negligence had cost me a part of my life I'll never get back. Piano is my life & now hard to play. My complaint to the state warranted an investigation (Ongoing). I'm devastated beyond words.

I visited Dr Gardner several years ago and had a very nice experience. However, this week I called to schedule an appointment, although my insurance does not require a referral I was told DrGardner does. I spoke with my PP doctors office and they said they were sending the referral to his office. I called and was told they would schedule an appointment but if they didn't receive the referral I would be responsible. I agreed then I was told I would have to wait until May 20, for an appointment. By May 20, my toe could fall off, I will go to urgent care. Medical care in Nevada is a crap shoot.
