Dr. Jeff Carfagno, MD

My father in law has gone to him for years and last week he went in for a rash that he thought could be shingles. The nurse suggested to Dr. Carfagno to prescribe a narcotic (it will not allow me to name it here) for a rash?! He took it for the first time on Friday and ended up falling down on cement stairs and busted his head, then he was having hallucinations, and ended up in the ER. Why was he prescribed something like this for a rash without being informed of the possible side effects? Ridiculous. He is 80 years old, lives alone, and could have died. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY.

He was my PCP for several years. When he was independent, he was pretty good. But after he joined St Vincent, it went downhill fast. Stopped listening & just wanted me in and out as quickly as possible.

Been seeing Dr. Carfagno for years. He has always treated me with kindness and respect. Always listens and never judgmental. He's treated everything from anxiety to pharyngitis for me. Always great time seeing him and his staff! Great people.

Dr. Carfagno is an excellent physician. He treats a multitude of issues for me and is always right on top of my conditions!! Thanks, Doc!!

Dr. Carfagno is a very engaging physician with an excellent staff. He is inquisitive but also interested in knowing the client's symptoms forward and backwards. He provides excellent questions to reach a sensible treatment method, but he isn't too proud to sometimes say, "I don't know for sure." Such a sensible statement is often the sign of an effective physician who will apply best practices to reach a logical diagnosis or make appropriate referrals.

Explained in detail the course of action for my symptoms. Glad I found him as my primary care physician.
