Dr. Jeevaka Yapa, DDS

I had three teeth extracted, and one was a wisdom tooth. First off I want to say how grateful I am that you accepted my insurance. They even got me in very quickly which was such a relief! The Dr. was very professional and asked all of the right questions. The front staff are so helpful and nice when I call. The Dr. stitched me perfectly and I’m healing just fine!

At first, everything was great! However, post-surgery and what happened with this office recently was absolutely unacceptable. I had a SCHEDULED appointment at 4:30pm and had shown up to Dr. Yapa’s office at 4:29pm and was told that he already left for the day. Mind you, I had driven over 60 miles one way to get to the office and had taken 2 hours off of work, and they refused to see me. I was ON TIME (technically, 1 minute early) for my appointment and they said “You just missed him.” For a doctor to have complete disregard over his patient’s time and office staff to not even call you and tell you that you actually didn’t have to come in, is so ridiculous and unprofessional. Besides this, Dr. Yapa has been nothing but incredibly rude during the last appointments I’ve had with him. Very dismissive, and acts like it’s a major inconvenience when answering questions and rushes out of the room as quickly as possible. I will never recommend anyone to him or this office.

Dr. Yapa and his staff did an amazing job from the consultation to the procedure. Everything was explained and I even spoke to receptionist Erin after the procedure and she answered my question right away. Every extraction is different. I opted for the numbing and my experience was quick and painless. I would recommend Dr. Yapa and his staff.

My experience with Doctor Yapa was fantastic and I felt very confident in his ability but.... I would like to thank his staff. I have a real phobia of hospitals and the staff put up with me and my fear for the weeks prior. I appreciate the staff's abilities to work on not just on my oral surgery field, but my anxiety as well. With covid going around scheduling was was carefully planned night what I wanted but what was the best for me.

Visiting Dr. Yappa's office was truly one of the worst medical experiences that I've ever encountered. I never saw Dr. Yappa. After sitting in his office for an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment time I saw a nurse who stuck her finger in my mouth and said I was good to go. A couple weeks later a got a bill for $200. Will never ever go here again.

I’d absolutely recommend Dr. Yapa and his office stay to anyone looking for an amazing team. I was in excruciating pain prior to my procedure. I was given a same day appointment to have my surgery and have felt no pain since having it done!...

Gentle and give you comfort but stills just get the job done.

Dr. Yapa has pulled wisdom teeth for my 3 children, and a tooth of mine. He is a superb and highly skilled oral surgeon, with a great chair-side manner. My dentist has recommended him to my family for years. His staff is friendly, competent and attentive. The office is clean, comfortable, well appointed and relaxing. Waiting is minimal and you leave feeling respected and cared for. I'd highly recommend him for any of your oral surgery needs.
