I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Dr. Groom's office that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, I waited an hour and a half past my appointment time, which is unacceptable. The office itself was in a deplorable state; it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The floors were dirty, and I even spotted a cockroach scuttling across the side table where the doctor keeps gloves, tissues, and cotton swabs. Absolutely disgusting! To make matters worse, the walls are so thin that I could hear every detail of other patients' conversations, which is a serious breach of privacy. When Dr. Groom finally arrived, he seemed condescending and dismissive as I tried to discuss my health issues. He offered no useful information or guidance, and at one point, he stated, "I don't know what to do for you." I replied, "Well, that is real helpful," which only seemed to agitate him further. He mumbled to himself and appeared confused before storming out to another office in the back, where I could hear him talking to a computer, presumably to document patient information. The lack of soundproofing in his office is unacceptable, as it compromises patient confidentiality and could potentially violate HIPAA regulations. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I cannot recommend Dr. Groom's office to anyone.

Rude, Disrespectful & Unprofessional
My General Practitioner since 1999.Appt was made to refill Rx,check A1C, as I was previously informed I was at pre-diabetic level & seek help for skin rash on legs & bruising on arms. 5 min into the appt he started ranting & making me feel guilty for checking my A1C. He refused to check my skin condition. He mocked me for trying to give history of skin problem & told me I should “sit on my hands” to keep from scratching. I showed the bruising, on my arms, and stated that was not from scratching. It was from bumping into things & had a skin tear, which was bandaged, on the back of my hand. He continued with his rant & walked out of the exam room.I was in shock. I have been a healthcare professional, in hospitals, for 43 years, working with Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Emergency Trauma,& Invasive Procedures with Radiologists. I taught college level healthcare courses for 12 years, concurrently working @ regional trauma referral hospital.Worst Unprofessionalism, ever seen

Doctor Jed Groom has been taking care of my health issues for more than 25 years. He has become a good friend of mine. He is very patient and listen carefully to what I have to say, even when I find out that what I say is incorrect, he then gives me the right facts in an easy way to understand. I am 76 years old, I know that he is the reason that I'm in good health. Doctor Groom thank you for all you do and I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate your expertise and gentleness. Aloha
