I had been going to Dr. Hanna for several months and she prescribed medications I didn't need to take, refused to help address a main concern and insisted on using crystals and brought it up at every single appointment. She is truly one of the worst health care professionals I've ever met. Very irresponsible and almost negligent in her behavior.

I've been seeing Dr. Hanna for several years: incompetent and careless. She didn't seem to listen to me at all and forgot who I was at each appointment, even read from another chart. She pushed a med on me that I couldn't afford by giving me a coupon that didn't work, so I wasted time going to pharmacy and her office again, fixing this mistake. I told her I had no luck with SSRI in the past, she prescribed one anyway, but when I told her the side effects I was having, she dismissed it, increased the dosage instead, making them worse. MANY issues with med refills: I'd request multiple times but she'd forget, or she'd write the wrong dose or date, I'd end up missing doses b/c I had to go back. I got sick with Covid and had to cancel an appt; when I recovered, I made a new appt b/c meds were running out. Appt was 6 weeks out, meds almost out, but when my pharmacy called her to refill (not controlled med), she rejected the request. Having bad withdrawals and switching to another provider.

Avoid this place as though your life depends on it. Sadly, I had to learn this lesson after going to Dr. Hanna for several years, because I was misdiagnosed, on the wrong medications, and severely depressed. I ended up in the ER because I was suffering from akathisia (uncontrollable leg movements), seizures, hallucinations and nausea, all due to her prescribing me the wrong medications. When I complained to her about how terrible I felt, she would just increase the dosages. It took a very concerned ER doctor to advise that I go to another psychiatrist in order for me to make a move. So glad I did. Additionally, I had to deal with Ken, the front desk pit bull who would shake me down for an ever-increasing bill for thousands of dollars of supposed unpaid services. I had to miss several appointments because I was unable to drive, sick all of the time, and in the hospital due to the medication. I had to go out on disability for 6 months to get it sorted out. And then he demanded that I pay

Overall, Dr. Hanna was very thorough and explained everything to me clearly. She went through my options, described the functioning behind different medications, and took her time to fully understand and comprehend my situation. Scheduling appointments is difficult because she is very busy. My first appointment was two-months out. My second appointment is one-month out. Hopefully this doesn't hinder my care in the future in case I need an urgent appointment. I definitely recommend Dr. Hanna.

She is the most irresponsible psychiatrist I have ever met. How she hasn't lost her medical license or sued is beyond me. She cancels her appointments then cant get you in for 3 months and then cancels again. I was having issues with my meds and not doing well. I was at the point of trying to take my own life. I was supposed to see her that week and she had double booked me and had her staff call me and say that she chose to see her other patient. I told them how I was feeling & she didn't care.
