I was referred to her by my pcp, I had been having extreme problems with my periods. She looked at the years of issues and asked if I was open to a hysterectomy. We scheduled it that day, I saw her once after my first appointment and before my scheduled hysterectomy. I am 35 and less than a week ago had my surgery and already feel so much better. She was very nice, funny, and so helpful! She answered all my questions without speaking down to me like most every other dr has. I'm so glad I was referred to her!

In the late 90's I was in extreme pain constantly, under the care of 3 other OB/GYNs and not getting anywhere. I was bleeding anywhere between 25-30 days a month, heavily, begging for help constantly, and all my doctors would do was give me depression medications. A referral from a mutual friend, (GP) sent me to Dr. Birchmier. Within a week she had me diagnosed, in surgery and removing a nearly 9lb uterus filled with fibroids that 3 other doctors couldn't find in almost 5 years. 5 years of pain, bleeding, suffering, etc., and all she did was a hysteroscopy and she found the issue. She's amazing, her staff was amazing. Thank you again and again, Lynn. Hope you still talk to Jackie...

Birchmier had a comforting bedside manner, but she guided me right into years of pain and suffering. She convinced me that Essure was safer & had less recovery time than just having my tubes tied & no real side effects. I followed her recommendation. I started having problems within 2 weeks. A few months later I had to have a full hysterectomy at 39. I begged her to remove the coils, too. PostOp she said she thinks she did. 2 yrs later, still bad. She defended Essure & dismissed my concerns.
