I have had the most comprehensive visits with Dr. Darche explaining the options for my arthritic knees. He listens and offers options for treatment when pain becomes unbearable in the future.

This was the absolute most absurdly subpar appointment scheduling experience I have ever encountered in my entire life. I made a telehealth appointment online via the KU MyChart portal and I confirmed it via text a few days prior. Then, I get onto the portal to attend my prescheduled telehealth appointment, and it was randomly cancelled without notice. I called the office number and the woman who picked up the phone said that it was scheduled for the wrong location, which is absurd since it is a telehealth appointment that doesn't require in-office treatment. I emailed this office to ask them to notify me in case they cancel my rescheduled appointment, and they not only didn't agree or confirm... they sent me a random message through the mychart portal to ask me to see my pcp to have them recommend a psych evaluation without any basis; I haven't even been to this office or seen or spoken with Dr. Darche. I have never experienced this type of thing anywhere besides with Dr. Darche.

He listened to me. Appointment was set up and was done on Monday August 23rd. Have walking issues with Calcification of Achilles. He was thoughtful, listened and looked at feet & Achilles. Gave him my CD from a Podiatrist. His suggestion was on point with what I want. No surgery. PRP therapy, I have done with my knee. It really works!!! I recommend this Orthopedic Doctor.

Super unprofessional. Had an appointment scheduled for over 2 months. Pre-registered yesterday by phone. Got a call from his office 3 hours before my appointment this morning and they cancelled on me. Scheduled another appointment a month from now. The lady on the phone said they’ve been trying to contact me to cancel. That’s a flat out lie. I have no missed calls or messages from them. I have no cancellation messages in MYChart and nobody said anything about cancelling when I called yesterday. If Dr. Darche can’t even care about his own office, I’m certainly not trusting him to take care of me. Enjoy your round of golf Doc. I found someone else to look at my shoulder.
