Dr. Jay Swett, MD

Had an appointment scheduled and he called me the day of to cancel for no reason when I was having horrible pain. He called himself to cancel, dismiss the pain and urgency away on an appointment I had scheduled for a while. He even lied and said I could come in if I really wanted. To make sure, I called the office and they said he canceled it and there was nothing I could do. The staff was nice and messaged him and he responded to keep it canceled. he just lied to me over the phone. A surgeon who lies, is apathetic about his patients, and cancels your appointments on the day WITH NO REASON is not someone you want operating on you. It is against the Hippocratic Oath too. Dr. Thurlow gives his cell to everyone and immediately responds. To your texts with a phone call usually to answer any questions! The two surgeons I had experience with. Dr. Swett is clearly only in it for the money. He does not care about you. I promise you that. Do not go with him.

Five Amazon stars for Dr. Swett!! He was the only doctor I found who was willing to do my groin hernia repair surgery without sedation -- local anesthesia only. I didn't want to be "out of it" for the rest of the day. The surgery went very well and has now healed perfecly!

Dr. Jay Swett is an excellent doctor/surgeon. Last Fall, he performed a mastectomy and lymph node removal as well as a separate procedure to place a port in preparation for chemotherapy. I consider myself lucky to have found such a skilled surgeon so close to home. He has a caring and compassionate straightforward approach. I highly recommend Dr. Swett.

Dr. Swett has always made me feel like he actually listens to me and addresses my concerns. He makes me feel very comfortable and actually cared about.
